Installation and regulation of appliance
elements
Before any procedures remove the power cable
from the socket.
Do not draw up the fastening elements
too tight to avoid damaging the thread.
Mounting / dismounting / setting-up of
some elements is the same for all appli-
ance models, in this case specic mod-
els are not indicated in the illustration.
The water is supplied from the appliance through
a exible reinforced hose 10 (rubber or plastic, not
included in the delivery set) connected to the out-
let branch pipe 4 through the tting 9. When con-
necting the appliance to steel or plastic pipes, it is
necessary to use a exible hose at least 2 meters
long.
Fitting preparation (see g. 1-3)
Hoses of different diameters as well as quick change
threaded ttings can be connected to the tting 9 (see
g. 1-2).
Using a ne-toothed saw, carefully cut off the unnec-
essary part of the tting 9 (see g. 1-2) and connect ei-
ther a hose or a quick change tting as described below.
Connect the tting 9 to the outlet branch pipe 4 as
shown in the gure 3. Disconnect in the reverse order.
Hose connection (see g. 4)
Put the hose clamp 11 on the end of the hose 10
(see g. 4.1).
Carefully slide the end of the hose 10 onto the t-
ting 9 (see g. 4.2).
Tighten the screw of hose clamp 11 (see g. 4.3).
Hose connection with a quick change adapter (see
g. 5)
Install the quick change adapter 12 on the end of the
hose 10 (see g. 5.1).
Screw the quick change tting 13 onto the tting 9
(see g. 5.2).
When connecting, put the quick change adapter 12
onto the quick change tting 13 and push until it clicks,
as shown in the g. 5.3.
When disconnecting, move the bushing of the quick
change adapter 12 as shown in the g. 5.4 and re-
move the quick change adapter 12 from the quick
change tting 13
Note: do not use a hose having a cross
section under 19 mm (3/4") (for CT35046F)
or 30 mm (1-1/4") (for CT35047), it will in-
crease the load on the appliance and re-
duce its performance.
