Suspension of the appliance (see g. 6)
• When suspending the appliance, use a strong rope
that can withstand the weight of the appliance as well
as the weight of the hose 10
• Pass the end of the rope through the loop 5 and tie
a knot that will not loosen or tighten spontaneously (for
example, the knot shown in the gure 6.1). When using
ropes made of synthetic materials (for example, nylon
cords), it is necessary to melt the end of the cord to
prevent its unraveling
• Fasten the hose 10, the power cable and the hang-
ing rope together using adhesive tape (see g. 6.2).
Make the rst attachment point at a distance of 20-30
cm from the appliance, and the following points with 1
m intervals (see g. 6.2). Note: the appliance must
be hanged on the rope, while the hose 10 and the
power cable must have a little slack.
Initial operating of the appliance
Before operating the appliance, it is mandatory to:
• make sure the voltage matches technical speci-
cations printed on the appliance;
• check power cable and extension cord condi-
tion; if any damage is detected, the cable shall be
replaced;
• check hose 10 condition; if any damage is detect-
ed, the hose shall be replaced
Switching the appliance on / off
Attention! Switching the appliance on
without water may damage it. In this
case, your right for warranty repairs be-
comes void.
Switching on:
Submerge the appliance in water as described below
and connect the plug of the power cable to the socket
Switching off:
Always unplug the power cable from the socket before
removing the appliance from the water
Design features of the appliance
Temperature protection
Temperature protection prevents the appliance from
damage by shutting it down in case of overheating
Note: tripping of the temperature protection indi-
cates unfavourable operating conditions - exces-
sive temperature of the pumped water, overheating
of the appliance due to direct sun rays, work with
increased load due to clogged suction openings,
etc. Make sure that the operating conditions of the
appliance meet the recommendations, it will ex-
tend the service life of the appliance.
Floating on / off switch (see g. 7-8)
[CT35046F]
The oating on / off switch 8 turns the appliance on
or off automatically, depending on the water level (see
g. 7).
You can adjust the moment the appliance turns on or
off depending on the water level
• Insert the cable 7 into the groove 6 (see g. 8.1).
• Move the cable 7 in the groove 6 changing the length
"L", the shorter the distance between the groove 6 and
the oating on / off switch 8, the sooner the appliance
will turn off (the level of remaining water increases)
Note: the distance "L" must be at least 10 cm, oth-
erwise the oating on / off switch 8 will not work.
Recommendations on the appliance
operation
• Connect the hose 10 to the appliance using one of
the methods described above
• For the model CT35046F - make sure that there is
enough space for normal operation of the oating on /
off switch 8 (it has the possibility to immerse and oat
freely, does not cling to the walls of the tank, does not
cling to the walls of the tank, etc) If necessary, adjust
the moment the appliance turns on or off depending on
the water level (see above)
Suspended use (see g. 6, 9)
• Fasten the rope in the loop 5 and attach the hose 10
and the power cable to it, as described above (see
g. 6).
• Slowly immerse the appliance into the water (into
a pit, well, pond, reservoir), and fasten the end of the
rope to the crossbar Note: do not immerse the ap-
pliance deeper than 7 m from the surface - this may
cause damage, and in such a case your right for a
warranty repair becomes void.
• The appliance should not touch the walls or the bot-
tom of a pit, well, or reservoir (see g. 9.1).
• The method of the appliance hanging when used in
open water bodies is shown in the gure 9.2.
When installing on the bottom
• Holding the appliance by the handles 3, slowly im-
merse it into the water and place it on the bottom
Make sure that the appliance is upright (see g. 9.4).
• Make sure that the appliance does not tip over dur-
ing operation, to do this it is recommended to x the
hose 10 at the edge of the reservoir
• Regardless of the appliance installation meth-
od, it must always be in an upright position (see
g. 9.1, 9.2, 9.4). It is forbidden to use the appliance
lying at on the bottom (see g. 9.3, 9.5).
• Turn on the appliance
• The productivity of the appliance directly depends
on the lifting height of the water (see diagrams in the
explanatory gures). The vertical axis shows the lifting
height of the water, the horizontal axis shows the pro-
ductivity of the appliance For example, for the model
CT35046F with 24 m lifting height of the water, the pro-
ductivity of the appliance will be 4 m
3
/h
• It is not recommended to use the appliance at the
maximum lifting height of the water as in such case the
productivity is minimal The hydraulic resistance of 10
meters of the horizontal part of the hose is equal to
approximately 1 meter of the vertical lifting height of
the water
• During operation, monitor the pumped water quality
The presence of sand or stones in the water will lead
