FORESEEN USE
Anchorage point for load lifting. The original instructions of use must always be available to the user until the
products are discarded. Check the suitability of the lifting eyes before each use.
NOT ALLOWED TO BE USED AS SHOWN IN ABOVE RED CROSSED PICTURES.
CHECK BEFORE EACH USE
The eyebolt/nut does not have defects due to wear, corrosion, cracks or visible deformations.
Markings must be clearly readable.
The loads to be lifted are in compliance with the loads of the eyebolts/nuts (the loads are specified
both on the products and in the user manual). WLL is marked on the product and it must be followed.
The load table in this manual is for reference.
If these checks give a negative outcome, the eyebolt/nut must not be used anymore and must be
replaced.
CONDITIONS OF USE
Impacts: The load must be applied without any impact or shock loading.
Checks must be carried out by a qualified staff.
As lifting accessories, the product must undergo checks at regular intervals and scheduled in
compliance with the laws and regulations in force.
The product must be fitted by a qualified person as it is used for lifting operations which must be carried
out in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE and subsequent modifications.
A qualified person must supervise the lifting operation and must always detect the center of gravity of
the load and position the eyebolts/nuts in order to guarantee that the said load is always balanced.
Lifting eyes should not be assembled on the side of the component to be lifted. Side loads are NOT
allowed.
Loading angles larger than 45° are NOT allowed (see the picture above).
When lifting eyes are used in a multileg assembly care should be taken to calculate the decrease of
the WLL caused by forces acting in multiple directions. The reduction in capacity for multileg
assemblies should be checked from the reference table/relevant standards.
Admissible operating temperature: -20 °C to 200 °C.
For risky lifting operations safety measures must be taken for the people who undergo the risk.
If the instructions are not adhered to serious damage can be caused to things and injuries to people.
