A) Depends on battery in use
B) Limited performance at temperatures <0°C
Scope of delivery differs with product variant.
The specifications apply to a rated voltage [U] of 230 V. These specifications may vary at different voltages and in country-specific models.
In unfavourable conditions, it is possible that the power tool may switch itself off due to electrostatic discharge. After switching the power tool
back on again, it will work as intended.
Noise/Vibration Information
Grass shear
Measured sound values determined according to
EN50636-2-94.
Typically the A-weighted sound pressure level of the product
is less than 70dB(A).
Vibration total values a
h
(triax vector sum) and uncertainty K
determined according to EN50636-2-94:
a

.
Shrub shear
Noise emission values determined according to
EN62841-4-2.
Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the product are:
Sound pressure level 58dB(A); sound power level
79dB(A). Uncertainty K= 3dB.

That the declared vibration total value(s) and the declared
noise emission value(s) have been measured in accordance
with a standard test method any may be used for comparing
one tool to another.
That the declared vibration total value(s) and the declared
noise emission value(s) may also be used in a preliminary as-
sessment of exposure.
That the vibration and noise emissions during actual use of
the power tool can differ from the declared values depend-
ing on the ways in which the tool is used especially what kind
of workpiece is processed; and of the need to identify safety
measures to protect the operator that are based on an estim-
ation of the exposure measures in the actual conditions of
use (taking account of all parts of the operating cycle such as
the times when the tool is switched off and when it is running
idle in addition to the trigger time).
Assembly
Mounting/Dismounting the attachment (see
figure C)
Apply the retaining pin attachment (16) to the pin (15) and
press the attachment onto the product.
Press the release buttons (5) and pull the attachment down-
ward.
Starting Operation
u Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Only
these battery chargers are matched to the lithium-ion bat-
tery of your product.
Battery Charging (see figure B)
u Do not use any other charger. The supplied charger is
matched to the lithium-ion battery that is fitted in your
power tool.
u Pay attention to the mains voltage. The voltage of the
power source must match the voltage specified on the
rating plate of the charger.
u The voltage range of the charger is between
100−240V. Ensure that the plug matches the outlet.
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure
full battery capacity, completely charge the battery in the
battery charger before using for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without
reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure
does not cause damage to the battery.
The “Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)” protects the lithium-
ion battery against deep discharging. When the battery is
empty, the product is switched off by means of a protective
circuit: The product no longer operates.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after an auto-
matic shut-off of the product. The battery could become
damaged.
