The specified values have been establis-
hed based on a standardised test pro-
cess and can be used for comparing dif-
ferent electrical tools with one another.
In addition, these values are suitable for
estimating in advance the loads to which
the user is exposed due to vibration.
WARNING!
The actual vibration values may differ
from those specified, depending on what
the electrical tool is used for.
Take measures to protect yourself
against vibration loads. In doing so, take
account of the entire working process,
i.e. also times during which the electrical
tool is operating without load, or is swit-
ched off.
Suitable measures include regular main-
tenance and care of the electrical tool
and the tool attachments, keeping your
hands warm, taking regular breaks and
planning the working sequences effec-
tively.
WARNING!
Wear ear defenders to prevent impair-
ment of hearing.
CAUTION!
Read all safety warnings and all instruc-
tions.
Failure to follow the warnings and in-
structions may result in electric shock,
fire and/ or serious injury.
CAUTION!
Save all warnings and instructions for fu
ture reference.
The term power tool” in the warnings
refers to your mainsoperated (corded)
power tool or battery-operated (cordless)
power tool.

CAUTION!
Use the equipment only if it is in correct
operating condition!
Before using, check the machine, ca-
ble and plug for damage; any damaged
parts must be repaired or replaced at a
specialised repair centre.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Safety and protective devices should not
be disabled.
CAUTION!
Gefahr durch Strom!
Immediately disconnect the plug from
the mains if the cable is damaged or se-
vered!
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCIONS FOR
ELECTRICAL POWER TOOLS
Work area safety
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered
and dark areas invite accidents.
Do not work with the power tool in a hazar-
dous environment where are flammable li-
quids, gases or dusts. Power tools create
sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a machine. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
Electrical safety
Power tool plugs must match the out-
let. Never modifythe plug in any way.
Do not use any adapter plugs witheart-
hed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified
plugs andmatching outlets will reduce risk of
electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed or groun
ded surfaces,such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an in-
creased risk of electric shock if your body ise-
arthed or grounded.
