WARNING

After each time you use the machine, clean the underside, while absolutely avoiding

the use of water jets (Fig. 17).

WARNING

Before performing any cleaning or repair procedures, stop the engine, disconnect

the battery and disconnect the safety key.

• Check that the machine is in good condition.

• Check that all bolts and nuts are well tightened.

• Apply grease or engine oil to rust-prone parts.

• Place the machine in a dry place, preferably with a concrete floor. To protect it from

moisture, you can place it on boards or sheet metal.

• The procedures for returning the machine to service following winter storage are the same

as for starting up during everyday use (7 STARTING).

• Never leave the machine in places where fuel vapors can accumulate and cause fire.

• Before putting the machine in an enclosed place, let the engine cool down.

13 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Environmental protection should be a priority of considerable importance when using the

machine, for the benefit of both social cohesion and the environment in which we live.

• Try not to cause any disturbance to the surrounding area.

• Strictly comply with local regulations for the disposal of waste material after cutting.

• Scrupulously comply with local regulations and provisions for the disposal of packaging, oils,

petrol, gasoline, batteries, filters, deteriorated parts or any elements which have a strong

impact on the environment. This waste must not be disposed of as normal waste, it must be

separated and taken to specified waste disposal centers where the material will be recycled.
