•

The unit is not intended to be used by people with physi-

cal, sensory or mental disabilities (including children) or

by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not

under supervision of a person who is responsible for their

safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the

usage of the unit.

•

Do not use the unit if the power plug or the power cord is

damaged.

•

If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the

manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar qualified

personnel to avoid danger.

•

The iron should not be used after a fall if there are visible

signs of damage or if it leaks.

•

Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the

unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it

was dropped, unplug the unit and contact any authorized

service center from the contact addresses listed in the war-

ranty certificate and on the website www.rondell.ru.

•

Transport the unit in the original packaging only.

•

Keep the unit in places unreachable by children or people

with disabilities.

THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. COM-

MERCIAL USE AND USE IN PRODUCTION AREAS OR WORK

SPACES IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage at low temperature

keep it for at least three hours at room temperature be-

fore switching on.

•

Unpack the iron; remove the protection from the soleplate

(13), if any.

•

Check the unit for damages; do not use the iron in case

of damages.

•

Before switching the iron on, make sure that your home

mains voltage corresponds to the iron operating voltage.

•

There may be water residue in the tank, this is normal, as

the iron has undergone factory quality control.

Note: during the first use, the heating element of the iron may

undergo some charring, which could result in a slight odor and

a small amount of smoke. This is a normal occurrence.

Controls, indications, symbols

The continuous steam supply knob (3) has 3 fixed positions:

–

no steam supply ;

–

medium steam supply ;

–

maximum steam supply .

•

Burst of steam button (4) – press the button to activate the

burst of steam function for additional steam.

•

Water spray button (5) - press the button to activate the

water spray function for moisturizing the fabrics.

•

LED indicator panel (7) - displays the modes of connection

to the mains, selection of ironing temperature, and auto-

matic shut-off indication.

•

Control button (11) - switches the soleplate heating tempera-

ture depending on the selected fabric type (see table below).

•

«max» maximum water level indicator (12).

WATER SELECTION

You can use tap water to refill the water tank (10). If tap water

is hard, use distilled or demineralized water - this will prolong

service life of the iron.

Note: Do not fill the water tank (10) with scented liquids, vin-

egar, starch solution, limescale removers, chemical agents,

and so on.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

Make sure that the iron is unplugged before filling it with water.

•

Set the continuous steam supply knob (3) to –

no steam supply.

•

Open the water inlet lid (2).

•

Pour water into the water tank (10) using the beaker (14)

and then close the lid (2) tight.

Note:

–

Do note exceed the «max» water level mark (12).

–

If you need to add water during ironing, be sure to switch off

the iron and unplug it from the electrical outlet first.

–

After you finish ironing, switch the iron off, wait until it cools

down completely, then open the water inlet lid (2), turn over

the iron and drain the remaining water.

ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM

The iron has a cartridge installed to prevent buildup of limes-

cale, which reduces the amount of calcium deposits inside the

steam chamber, significantly extending the longevity of the iron.

The descaling cartridge is part of the water tank and does not

need to be replaced during use.

Note:

–

Use tap water only. Distilled and/or demineralized water

reduces the effectiveness of the «Zero-Calc» anti-scale

system by changing its physicochemical characteristics.

–

Do not use the chemical additives, aromatic substances,

or descaling agents. Failure to follow the above rules will

void the warranty.

IRONING TEMPERATURE

To ensure that the iron soleplate (13) and the water tank (10)

are clean, check the heated iron on a piece of fabric before use.
