When cleaning the appliance do not use abrasives
and organic cleaners (alcohol, gasoline, etc.). When
cleaning the device it is allowed to use a small
amount of neutral detergent.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Please read the instruction manual before using the
device. Keep the manual after reading for further use.
All illustrations in this manual are schematic repre-
sentations of real objects, which may differ from the
actual images.
Place the device on a smooth horizontal surface with-
in 15-20 cm. from the wall/ furniture and 10 cm. from
the edge of the surface.
During operation, the device heats up. Do not
touch the heated parts of the device. Be careful
not to burn yourself with steam or hot water.
Do not remove the portafilter in the process of coffee
brewing.
The operation of this device in any case does
not imply application of any force to it, as this
may damage the product due to user fault.

When using electrical appliances should take the fol-
lowing precautions:
Use the device according to the following instructions
manual.
Install the device on a stable surface.
Use only the tools, which are included in the product set.
To protect against risk of electrical shock do not
put the cord in water or other liquid. If for some
reason the water got into the unit, contact an au-
thorized service center (ASC) OURSSON.
For power supply, use a power grid with proper char-
acteristics.
Do not use the device in areas where the air can con-
tain vapors of ammable substances.
Never attempt to open the device by yourself
it could possibly be the reason of an electrical
shock can lead to product malfunction and will
invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty. For re-
pair and maintenance, contact only authorized
service centers meant for repair of products un-
der the trademark OURSSON.
When moved from a cool to a warm place and vice
versa unpack it before use and wait 1-2 hours without
turning it on.
In order to prevent electrical shock do not immerse
the entire product or the wires into the water.
Be particularly careful and cautious when using the
device near children.
Do not touch any hot parts, as this may cause
injury.
The power cord is specially made relatively short in
order to avoid the risk of injury.
Do not allow the cord to hang over the sharp edge of
the table or touch hot surfaces.
Do not connect this device to a grid which is over-
loaded with other appliances: it can lead to the fact
that the device will not function properly.
Do not install the device near gas and electric stoves
and ovens.
After use, make sure to disconnect the device from
the power grid.
Keep the device from bumps, falls, vibration and oth-
er mechanical inuences.
Make sure to disconnect the device from the power
grid before cleaning or changing accessories.
Do not use the device outdoors.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, senso-
ry or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge. They can only use the device under the

Preparation for operation
Before first use, сwipe the body of the device

with a
soft, dry cloth. Remove the nozzle from the steam pipe
by slightly turning it around the axis. Wash it with warm
water and wipe dry. Water tank, tank’s lid, filters

wash with warm water and detergent. Dry all the parts.
Before assembling or disassembling the device,
make sure that the device is unplugged.
Before first use, clean the entire system for the first time,
run 350-400 ml. of water without using coffee. For that,
open the lid and fill the water tank to the MAX. Use only
clean water at room temperature 25°C. Plug in the device.
Before turning on the coffee machine, make sure
that the steam control switch is in
(OFF) position,
and
and нbuttons are not pressed.
Install the filter holder (without coffee), Pic. D-4. Press
, button, red indication will turn on. Place a cup under the
filter holder’s spout.
Press
. button. The pump will start to pump the wa-
ter. When water will start to flow through the filter holder’s
spout press the
button again. Make sure the
but-
ton is not pressed. Wait for the water to heat up and the
green indicator
will light up. It means that the device
is ready to use.
Press button. Water will start to flow through the coffee
outlet. When the water flows for about 1 minute, press the
button again. Repeat the procedure a few times. Let
the device cool.
NOTE:
Between the operational cycles, the green indication
may turn off. This means that the heating process is
in progress. Wait for the device to be ready for use.
During the first pumping of the water, there may be a
noise. This is normal, because the air is flowing from
the device. After about 60 seconds, the noise will stop.
ORDER OF OPERATION:
1. Open the tank’s lid, Pic. D-2. Remove the water tank,
pulling it up, fill it with water to the MAX. You may also
add water without taking the tank out, Pic. D-1. Use
only clean, non-carbonated water at room temperature
25°C. Do not use any other liquids, such as hot water
or milk. This may lead to the coffee machine breakage.
Do not turn on the device with empty water
tank. Make sure there is enough water in the
tank (above the MIN mark).
2. Plug in the device. Press
button, the red indication
will light up.
NOTE:
The presence of water in the cavity under the tank is nor-
mal. Therefore, periodically drain it with a clean sponge.
The cup holder is heated up, when the device
is operating. Put coffee cups on it.
3. Place the ground coffee filter for 1 or 2 cups into the
filter holder. Make sure it is installed correctly, for this,
turn it slightly to the right or left, so that the notches
on the filter fall into the grooves of the holder, pic. D-3.
4. Place the filter holder into the brew unit. For that, hold-
ing it with the handle to the left, bring it under the brew
unit, then insert it and turn the handle to the right, until
it locks. Pic. D-4.
5. To make espresso, it is necessary to warm up the de-
vice and filter holder. Press
button. The pump will
start to pump the water. When water will start to flow
through the filter holders spout press the
button
again. Wait for the water to heat up and the green indi-
cator
will light up. Press button. Water will start
to flow through the coffee outlet. When the water flows
for about 20 seconds, press the
button again. Do
this only for the first portion of coffee.
6. After running the water, remove the filter holder by turn-
ing it to the left.
7. Using the measuring spoon, add 1-1.5 tablespoons of
ground coffee (~7 g) for one cup or 2 spoons of ground
coffee for two cups (~14 g) into the appropriate filter,
Pic. D-5. Use the other part of the measuring spoon to
press the coffee, Pic. D-6. Clean the edges of the filter
holder from the remaining coffee.
The better you tamp the coffee, the darker it
will be, and vice versa.
8. Install the filter holder into the brew unit, Pic. D-4.
9. Take one or two preheated cups and place them under
the filter holder’s spout, Pic. D-7.
10. Make sure the green indication
is lit, and
button is not pressed, and press
button to make
coffee. Coffee will start pouring into the cup from the
coffee outlet. When the required amount of coffee will
be poured, press
button again.
11. Remove the filter holder and clean it from coffee
grounds.
Clean the filter after every use.
NOTE:
To remove the filter from the holder, you may use the
measuring spoon or any other filter, Pic. D-8.
PREPARING CAPPUCCINO
1. Take a big cup for cappuccino and prepare coffee ac-
cording to items 1-10.
2. Press the
button and wait for the yellow indication
