UTILIZING THE TOOLKIT BEFORE
THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage under
cold (winter) conditions, it is necessary to
keep it for at least three hours at room tem-
perature before switching on.
Battery charging
A fully charged battery provides 4 hours of con-
tinuous unit operation.
– Insert the USB cord Type C (16) connec-
tor into the socket (10). Connect the second
end of the USB cord (16) to the power sup-
ply unit (15).
– Connect the power supply unit (15) into the
mains socket, the indicator (8) will light up
red and the digital display (7) will show the
remaining battery charge in blue. From «10»
(the battery is discharged) to «99» (the bat-
tery is fully charged).
– Before the first usage of the unit, fully charge
the battery for 3 hours.
– Remove the protective sticker from the dis-
play (7).
– During charging the digital value will change
gradually. After charging is finished, the dis-
play will show the number «99» and glow
constantly until the power supply unit is dis-
connected from the mains.
– After charging remove the power adapter (15)
from the mains socket and disconnect the
adapter cord from the unit. The indicator (8)
and the digital display (7) will go out.
Notes:
– If the display shows the value «10», this means
that the remaining power («power left») is less
than 10 percent and the battery needs to be
charged.
– Charge the battery at the temperature from
+5° C to +35° C.
– Never leave the unit connected to the mains
unattended.
– If you haven't used the unit for a long time
(more than 2 months), charge the battery
fully for 3 hours before using the unit.
Lubricating oil
– To maintain the unit in a good condition, you
should lubricate the blades (1) after every use
of the unit (pic. 3).
Attention! Use only the lubricating oil (18) from
the delivery set.
DO NOT USE vegetable oil, fat, oil mixed with
any solvents for lubricating.
Solvents will evaporate, leaving thick grease
that can slow down the motion of the adjust-
able blade.
Hair length adjustment
Adjust the cut hair length from 1.0 to 1.9 mm by
moving the adjustable blade with the adjuster
(2). The adjuster (2) has four positions: I, II, III,
IV. When you move the adjuster to the right, the
adjustable blade lifts up to 0.3 mm with each step:
reducing the gap (1.9; 1.6; 1.3; 1.0 mm), thereby
reducing the length of the cut hair from 1.9 to 1.0
mm. The position I has the biggest gap 1.9 mm.
– If you need to set the hair length from 4 to
13 mm, move the adjuster (2) to the posi-
tion IV (1.0 mm) and install the correspond-
ing attachment.
– The hair clipper supplied with 4 types of hair
cutting attachments: 3 mm (11), 6 mm (12), 9
mm (13) and 12 mm (14). The values indicated
on the attachments correspond to the remain-
ing hair length after cutting.
– To install the attachment (11-14), insert the
trimmer blades (1,) into the selected attach-
ment (11-14), lower the attachment until the
lock engages, you will hear a click when the
attachment lock enters the groove (20) (pic. 1).
– To remove the attachment (11-14), press the
lower part of the attachment upwards on the
side of the lock with your thumb and carefully
remove the attachment from the body.
Using the unit
– For cordless use of the unit, charge the bat-
tery fully.
