English J OVERHEATING SAFETY DEVICE Your heater is fitted with a safety device that switches off the heater in the event of overheating Should the heater stop working turn the heater off and inspect of blockage of inlet or outlet Wait at least 5 minutes of the protection system to reset before attempting to restart the heater If the heater fails to operate the safety device switches the heater off again return the heater to your nearest service cente r for exam i nati on or repa ir CLEANING YOUR FAN HEATER 1 Always disconnectthe appliance from the main supply before cleaning 2 Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with damp cloth and guff with a dry cloth 3 Do not use Benzine or any other detergents sol vents or chemical agents to clean the heater SERVICE Hints before returning the appliance Is your household socket working properly Are all required switches in the ON position Ensure that the plug is firmly in the socket and switched on Ensure the heater if standing on an even surface NOTE If the power supply cord or plug is damaged an Amalgamated Appliance service centeror an official agent must replace it If service becomes necessary with the warranty period the appliance should be returned to an approved service center Servicing outside the warranty period is still available however it will be chargeable
