TROUBLESHOOTING/FAQ
PROBLEMS POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The appliance suction
does not work very well,
makes noise, hisses.
The dust collector is full. Empty it and clean it.
The dust collector is incorrectly installed. Re-position it correctly.
The nozzle is dirty. Remove it and clean it.
The foam lter is saturated. Clean it.
Dust or debris fall out onto
the oor.
The dust collector is full. The lter is
missing or incorrectly installed.
Empty the dust collector.
Clean the lter and install it
correctly.
The appliance no longer
generates steam.
The appliance is not plugged in.
Check that the power cable is
correctly connected and that the
ON/OFF button is lit up.
No water left in the tank. Add water to the tank.
The descaling cartridge is incorrectly
installed.
Re-position it correctly.
The nozzle produces a
large quantity of steam.
It is at the Max. position. Reduce the steam power.
The appliance does not
clean the oor very well.
The cloth is saturated. Clean the cloth.
There are no lights on the
appliance.
The ON/OFF button is not on. Switch it on.
The appliance is not plugged in.
Check that the power cable is
correctly connected.
The oor is very wet after
using the steam mop.
The cloth is too wet. Clean it or t a new cloth.
Brown spots are visible on
the oor when the mop
passes over it.
You are using chemical descaling agents
or additives in the water tank.
Never add any sort of product to
the tank. Contact an approved
service centre.
Steam comes out the side
of the appliance.
The heating element is coated with
scale.
