Transmission

Dry clutch operated by a control lever on left handlebar.

Drive is transmitted from engine to gearbox main shaft

via spur gears.

Gear ratio:

31/62 (748); 32/59 (996).

6-speed gearbox with constant mesh gears, gear change

pedal on left side of motorcycle.

Front/rear sprocket ratio:

14/38 (748); 15/36 (996)

Total gear ratios:

1st gear 15/37 (748); 15/37 (996).

2nd gear 17/30 (748); 17/30 (996).

3rd gear 20/28 (748); 20/27 (996).

4th gear 22/26 (748); 22/24 (996).

5th gear 23/24 (748); 24/23 (996).

6th gear 24/23 (748); 28/24 (996).
