6 Operation and storage manual for a panel convector with a MICA heater EN

Read the following instructions before using the
appliance and keep the user manual for future
use. In case of changing the owner, the user manual
should accompany the appliance.
Thank you for choosing the MC 101/151/201 convector.
The appliance oers you heating in the winter responding
to your need for achieving comfortable warmth in the
heated area. If operated as per the instructions below, the
appliance will provide you with lasting service.
IMPORTANT PRECAUTION AND SAFETY
MEASURES:
1. This appliance shall be used only for the purpose
it was intended for i.e. to heat domestic areas. The
appliance is not designed for commercial purposes.
Any use, dierent from the intended, is considered
wrong and dangerous. The manufacturer is not
liable for any damage due to wrong or irrational use.
Failure to fulll the safety instructions will make the
guarantee of the appliance void!
2. Before connecting the appliance, make sure the
voltage at your home conforms to the voltage
noted on the nameplate.
3. Never leave home before the appliance is turned
o by positioning the switch to OFF (0). Always
disconnect the electrical plug from the wall socket.
4. Provide at least a 100-cm distance between the
convector heater and any ammable objects such
as furniture, pillows, bed linen, paper, clothes,
curtains, etc.
5. Do not use the appliance in places where ammable
substances are used or stored. Do not use the
appliance in areas of ammable environment (e.g.
near ammable gases or aerosols) as there is high
risk of explosion and re!
6. Do not insert and do not allow foreign objects to
get into the ventilation openings (inlet and outlet),
because that will cause electric shock, re or will
damage the convector.
7. Caution: This appliance is not suitable for use by
people with physical, sensory or mental disabilities;
by children or by people lacking knowledge and
experience unless there is a person responsible
for their safety who watches and instructs them in
accordance with the usage of the appliance. Keep
children under control to make sure they do not
play with the appliance!
8. The appliance is not suitable for breeding livestock.
It is intended for domestic use only!
9. Keep the inlet and outlet of the airow
unobstructed. There should be a clearance of 1m in
front of and behind the convector, respectively.
10. Flu and dust deposits are the most common
causes for appliance overheating. You should
regularly clean the ventilation openings and grills
with a vacuum cleaner. Do not forget to disconnect
the appliance from the electricity supply system
before cleaning.
11. Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands
as there is risk for your life!
12. The wall socket has to be accessible at any time in
order to disconnect the plug as quickly as possible
when necessary. Never disconnect the appliance by
pulling the cord or the appliance itself.
13. Caution! The outlet air heats up to over 100

14. If the power cord is damaged, stop using the
appliance and contact the supplier/trader for
further instructions.
15. In case it is out of order or malfunctions, stop using
the appliance but do not repair it. For any repairs
contact the post-sale Service Centre for servicing.
There only, the faulty part will be replaced by an
original one. Failure to fulll this requirement may
compromise the safety of the appliance.
16. It is recommended to render the appliance
unusable when you decide to stop using it.
Disconnect it from the electricity system and cut the
cord. Make sure all dangers connected with using
the appliance are avoided as children may play with
the out-of-use appliance.
17. Never leave the appliance working without a
reason. Disconnect it from the electricity system if it
is not to be used for a long time.
18. The appliance must not be positioned close
beneath a wall socket!
19. Caution: do not use the appliance together with a
programmer, counter or any other device that may
turn it on automatically as there is a risk of re if the
appliance is covered or not properly placed.
20. Do not place the power cord in a way that may
obstruct people’s movements and be trodden
over! Use only approved extension units with this
appliance, ones bearing a compatibility sign.
21. Do not ever move the appliance by pulling it by the
cord! Do not use the cord for carrying objects!
22. Do not bend the cord and do not rub it on sharp
edges; also, do not place it onto hot plates or open
re!
23. Never use the appliance in close proximity to a
bathroom, shower cabin or swimming pool!
