It is highly re
commended to disconnect the bat-
tery when repl
acing any electric or electronic com-
ponent.
WARNING
Always disconnect battery exactly in the
specified order, BLACK (-) cable first, RED (+)
cable last. Always reconnect BLACK (-) cable
last. Do not place tools on battery.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The intelligent suspension is a mechanical system
of two springs and one shock absorber installed in
the fixed deck connecting to the moving deck to
isolate the riders from the rough water.

An actuator is mounted underneath springs to
control the spring preload and therefore the sus-
pension height.

The iS module controls the electric motor of the
hydraulic pump to adjust the actuator height. It
also sets the suspension height according to the
active mode of operation and input signals.

1. iS module
The iS module is programmed with various param-
eters that it compares to the input signals and in-
formation it obtains through the CAN bus from the
other electronic modules.
