OPERATION
BREWING ESPRESSO
•Espresso is a unique method of coee brewing in which
hot water is forced through ground coee under high
steam pressure. This will give a delicate aroma and
brilliant taste.
• Remove the water reservoir cap by twisting in
counterclockwise.
• Using carafe, ll the reservoir with the necessary
amount of water: for 2 or 4 cups.
ATTENTION: always unplug the appliance when lling it
with water. Make sure the water is not overown.
ATTENTION:Do not switch the coee maker on without
water.
• Screw the water reservoir cap back tight.
• Pour necessary amount of coee into lter spoonful
and level it. Do not tamp coee.
• Place lter into the basket.
• Place the basket into the coee maker so that the
handle is aligned with position and rotate it
completely to the right until it stops at the
position.
• Place the carafe on the drip tray. Make sure the lid
opening is aligned with the basket spout.
• Make sure the frothing tube is blocked (frothing aid is
in the leftmost position).
• Set the mode switch into position with the light
indicator lit on.
ATTENTION:Do not touch metal parts of the coee
maker while brewing because they are very hot.
When nished, remove the carafe fromthe tray and
pour coee into cups.
• Prior to removing lter, it is necessaryto release the
steam. To do it, turn the switch into the OFF” position.
The steam will come out of the frothing tube. Once the
steam is released and the lter and the basket have
cooled
down, remove them rotating the handle clockwise to
position.
ATTENTION: Beware of hot steam coming out of the
nozzle.
