1. Unmount or safely remove the 2big volumes from your computer.

Do not turn off the 2big.

2. Insert a small, ﬂat-blade screwdriver into the groove on the rotary switch and turn the

screwdriver to the left or right to select a different mode.

3. Remove the screwdriver from the rotary switch and use it to depress the conﬁrm button.

The two drive status LEDs blink quickly to conﬁrm the RAID mode change.

4. Reformat the disks. Please refer to the user manual on the LaCie Storage

Utilities CD-ROM.

CAUTION! Changing conﬁguration modes destroys data stored on the 2big.

Back up data before following these steps.

CAUTION! Disks must be inserted correctly in the 2big before conﬁguration can be changed.
