CONSOLE PLAYER

The Console Player is for the everyday video user in the system: from video editors to command and control center operators.

“Players” log into TyLinx Pro with their own user names and passwords (established by the Admin Console operator) and have custom

access and views of the system (established through the Console Designer).

The Console Player offers simple tabs that can be switched between Button Per Source and XY views of the routing switcher. These

features simplify the interface for the Player while providing the facility manager or Administrator a high degree of control and

oversight. While the Player’s access to the system may be limited through the Admin Console, the Player works in a seamless

environment where routing choices are clearly displayed and off-limit equipment is invisible.
