Use only attachments recommended by Bosch
for use with the Bosch C3 charger. Use of
attachments not recommended for use by bosch
may result in electric shock, fire or other serious
injury or property damage.
Warning

Never operate the charger if the cord or the plug
is damaged. Damaged cords must be immediately
replaced by a qualified specialist. Never use the cord
to carry the charger or pull the plug from an outlet.
Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged cords may cause electric
shock, other serious injury or property damage.

Use only extension cords that comply with
section 2.8 of this instruction manual. Use of
an improper extension cord may result in a fire,
electric shock, other serious injury or property
damage. An extension cord should not be used
unless absolutely necessary. If an extension cord
must be used, make sure:
(1) That the pins on the plug of the extension cord
are the same number, size and shape as those
of the plug on the charger.
(2) That the extension cord is properly wired and
in good electrical condition.
(3) That the wire size is large enough for the AC
ampere rating of the charger as specified in
Section 2.8 AC Connection.

Do not disassemble or attempt to service or
repair the C3 charger. Never operate the charger
if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped,
or otherwise damaged in any way. Take it to a
qualified repair specialist or return to the place of
purchase. Incorrect disassembly, reassembly or
repair may result in fire, electric shock, other
serious injury or property damage. Setting the
charger “MODE” button to the standby position
(blue LED ring illuminated) will not reduce this risk.

To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug charger
from outlet before attempting any maintenance or
cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce this
risk.
Fuse Replacement
Warning
!
(1) Disconnect AC power from the outlet and
disconnect cable harness from the output
cord.
(2) Open fuse holder in the cable harness.
(3) Remove automotive style blade fuse
(4) Replace fuse with same type and size fuse
(10.0 Amp)
(5) Close fuse holder
Maintenance and Cleaning Instructions
Warning
!
The charger does not need any specific
maintenance. Only install, maintain, or service this
charger when it is disconnected from power socket.
(1) After use, wipe dirt or oil from clip, cord, an
the charger case with a dry cloth. (Do not use
any solvents)
(2) Corrosion on the clips may be removed with a
solution of water and baking soda.
