1. CONFIGURATION OVER WEB BROWSER
1.14 PPPoE Configuration
To enter the PPPoE configuration select the PPPoE menu item. If the Create PPPoE con-
nection option is selected, the router tries to establish PPPoE connection after switching-on.
PPPoE (Point-to-Point over Ethernet) is a network protocol, which PPP frames encapsulat-
ing to the Ethernet frames. PPPoE client to connect devices that support PPPoE bridge or
a server (typically ADSL router). After connecting the router obtains the IP address of the
device to which it is connected. All communications from the device behind the PPPoE server
is forwarded to industrial router.

Username Username for secure access to PPPoE
Password Password for secure access to PPPoE
Authentication Authentication protocol in GSM network
PAP or CHAP authentication method is chosen by router
PAP it is used PAP authentication method
CHAP it is used CHAP authentication method
MRU Maximum Receiving Unit It is the identifier of the maximum size
of packet, which is possible to recese in given environment. De-
fault value is set to 1492 bytes. Other settings may cause incor-
rect data transmission.
MTU Maximum Transmission Unit It is the identifier of the maximum
size of packet, which is possible to transfer in given environment.
Default value is set to 1492 bytes. Other settings may cause in-
correct data transmission.
