5. PREPARATION AND OPERATION

Speaker placement

• Place the speakers symmetrically to the listener at least one meter

away.

• Place MSS far away from monitors and TV sets, as insigniﬁcant image

distortion in these supersensitive devices is possible.

MSS Connecting

Sven 230 Multimedia Speaker System can be connected to virtually any

audio source: DVD/CD, PC sound card, etc. (see Fig. 2).

• Before connecting, make sure that MSS is unplugged.

• Connect signal cable mini-jack 3,5 mm built-in active speaker to audio

output of the sound source, as shown in Fig. 2. Use mini-jack to 2RCA

adapter (not included) for connection of DVD-player, TV-set etc.

• Plug power cable (ﬁg. 2) of active speaker into the mains outlet.

• Revolve VOLUME knob VOLUME d to the minimum; press the button POWER a of the active

speaker.
