6. Align the tray with the storage drive slot; then, carefully slide the tray into the slot, making sure that the
tray slides in smoothly and firmly into the V2416A computer.
7. Turn the protective key clock-wise to the lock position and tighten the thumbscrews.
8. If required, repeat steps 2 – 7 to install a second storage drive.
Enabling the Hot-Swap Feature
The V2416A computer provides the hot-swap function that enables you to replace a storage drive while the
computer is still operating.
To enable the hot-swap feature, complete the following steps:
1. Press the Hot-Swap button for the storage drive that you want to replace. This sets the system to eject or
un-mount the storage drive.
2. When the Storage LED starts to blink, you can remove the storage drive tray to replace the storage drive.
