1. Ensure your hair is completely dry and combed through before use.

2. Press the button marked ‘I/0’ to switch your straightener on. The LCD screen will

illuminate.

NOTE: turning on the straightener will automatically activate the Advanced Ionic technology.

Any noise generated from the ionic ports is normal.

3. Your straightener will adjust to the 185°C temperature setting each time it is switched on

and will be displayed on the LCD screen.

IMPORTANT! Within 5 seconds of turning the straightener on the temperature setting

will automatically lock. You are able to adjust the temperature setting immediately after

switching on the straightener, however if the straightener locks you will need to hold down

either the + or - buttons for 1-2 seconds, this will then enable you to change the temperature.

For thicker or naturally curly hair use a temperature setting between 195-235°C. For delicate,

ne or coloured hair, use a temperature setting between 135-195°C. Always start with a lower

temperature setting and increase the level of heat as required. Please note, the temperature

settings are designed to give an indication of the temperature of the appliance. Whilst

the temperature will not always be 100% accurate, the settings provide a good guide for

selecting the best temperature for your hair. Low temperature indication is only for reference.

4. Separate your hair into sections. Take a section of hair, and place it between the

straightening plates, close to the roots.

5. Gently slide the plates down the length of the hair. If you want to create some shape at the

ends of the hair, slightly bend your wrist inwards or outwards as you move the straightener

towards the end of each section.

6. Repeat as necessary through the remaining sections of your hair. Use the heat protection

mat to place your straighteners on between each section to protect surfaces.

7. Allow the hair to cool fully before combing through.

8. After use, press and hold the button marked ‘I/0’ for 1-2 seconds to switch your straightener

o and unplug. Allow your straightener to cool down fully on the heat protection mat

before storing away.

IMPORTANT! This straightener has a high performance ceramic heater and is designed to

reach very high temperatures. If the maximum setting is too hot for your hair type then there

are a range of lower temperature settings available to use.

CAUTION! This is a high heat appliance. Care must be taken to avoid the hot surface including

the housing around the outside of the plates coming into direct contact with the skin, in

particular the eyes, ears, face and neck.
