Braun AS 330 [5/40] English

Carefully read the use instructions before use.

Important

• Plug your appliance into an alternating current

(~) outlet only and make sure that your

household voltage corresponds to the voltage

marked on your appliance.

• This appliance must never be used near

water (e.g. afilled wash basin, bathtub or

shower). Do not allow the appliance to

become wet.

• Always unplug after use. Even switched off the

appliance presents a hazard when near water.

• For additional protection, it is advisable to

install a residual current device (RCD) with a

rated residual operating current not exceeding

30 mA in the electrical circuit of your bath-

room. Ask your installer for advice.

• This appliance is not intended for use by

children or persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities, unless they are

given supervision by a person responsible for

their safety. In general, we recommend that you

keep the appliance out of reach of children.

Children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not wrap the mains cord around the

appliance. Regularly check the mains cord for

wear or damage. The mains cord of the appli-

ance may only be replaced by an authorised

Braun Service Centre. Unqualified repair work

can lead to extreme hazards for the user.

Braun AS 330 is suitable for styling towel dry

or damp hair.

I = soft setting (200 Watt)

II = turbo setting (400 Watt)

Curl release

(only for styling brush

For automatic unwinding a strand of hair (1), turn

the white tip at the brush’s end beyond its lock

(2). Slowly move the styler downwards: The brush

rotates freely to release the hair (3). To lock the

brush again, simply press the white tip (4).

Cleaning

After use, unplug the appliance. Put the styling

brush and the volume finger attachment

briefly

into warm soap water and then clean with a cloth.

The motor part

should only be cleaned with a

dry cloth.

Styling tips

The small styling brush allows perfect styling of

small curls and waves, while the big, round brush

is ideal for larger curls and waves and for

straightening the hair. Both give more lift at the

roots and numerous ways of fixing the hairs’ ends

(e.g. inner roll, outer rolls, flicks, touch ups).

Above that, with its volume fingers AS 330 can

create volume and bounce for your hair.

the household waste at the end of its

useful life. Disposal can take place at a

Braun Service Centre or at appropriate

collection points provided in your country.
