● Funnel should not move when

engaged properly.

1.W i t h ta n k c o v e r o p en , lo c a t e s lo t on

both sides of the open coffee maker.

2.Locate tabs on funnel and lower

funnel into coffee maker with the handle

u p r i g h t .

3.Firmly press the funnel into the

coffeemaker while holding handle

u p r i g h t .

4.Lower funnel handled o w n s o t h a t

t a b s l o c k u n d e r s l o t s .

Operation instruction:

1) Opena t a n k c o v e r o f t h e c o f f e e

maker, fill proper amount water intot h e

with a carafe. The water level should not

exceed the MAX level.

2) A d d c o f f e e g r o u n d i n t o t h e filter.

Usually a cup of coffee need a level

spoon of coffee ground, but you may

a d j u st ac c o rd i n g to yo u t a s t e p r op e r ly .

3). T h e n p l a c e t h e f i l e r w i t h c o f f e e

ground in the funnel( p l e a s e s e e

followingfigure). T h e n p l a c e t h e m

t o g e t h e r i n t h e f u n n e l s u p p o r t , make

sure it is assembled correctly. See the

section «T H E D E T A I L S A S S E M B L I N G

STEPS FOR FUNNEL».

4) Insert the carafe on keeping warm

plate.

5) Plug the power cord into the outlet,

t h e L C D w i l l display“12:00“.

6) Press“ON/OFF” button, the red lamp

of RUN will be illuminated. The

a p pli a n c e w il l b eg i n w o r k in g .

Note:Y o u c a n t a k e o u t c a r a f e , p o u r a n d

serve at any time. The appliance wil l

stop dripping automatically. But the

t i m e c a n n o t e x c e e d 3 0 s e c o n d s .

7) Do not open the tank cover when the

coffee maker is operating. The flow back

of hot water will damage the appliance.

8) You can take out carafe, pour and

serve when finish brewing ( a b o u t o n e

minute later after the coffee stops

dripping out.)

Note:t h e c o f f e e y o u g e t w i l l l e s s t h a n

w a t e r i s a b s o r b e d b y c o f f e e g r o u n d . A s

safety is concerned, you had better

cover the lid of carafe when pouring,

t h a t i s g o o d t o k e e p w a r m t o o .

9) Always turn the coffee maker off and

u n p l u g t h e p o w e r c o r d f r o m t h e

electrical outlet when the coffee maker

i s n o t i n u s e .

Note:pay attention to pour the coffee

out, otherwise you may be hurt as the

t e m p e r a t u r e o f c o f f e e just finished is

h i g h .

Automatic start function

If you do not want the coffee maker

start operation immediately, for

example now it is 8:10 am, you hope

t h a t t h e c o f f e e m a k e r w i l l a u t o m a t i c a l l y

start at 1:00 pm, first follow steps 1 to

5 of abovesection, t h e n y o u c a n s e t t h e

a u t o m a tic s t a r t f u n cti o n a s fo l l ow s :

1).P r e s s “P R O G ” button, the“L C D ” will

display“CLOCK”.

Set the current time by pressing the

“H O U R ” a n d “M I N ”( s e e F i g . 1 ) .

Note:t h e t i m e c y c l e i s 2 4 h o u r s .

2) . P r e s s “P R O G ” button again, the

“L C D ” will display “T I M E R ”, t h e n s e t t h e

a u t o m a tic start t i m e b y p r e s s i n g t h e

“H O U R ” a n d “M I N ”(Fi g . 2 ) .

3) . P r e s s “ON/OFF” t w i c e , t h e g r e e n

l a m p o f A U T O w i l l b e i l l u m i n a t e d , a f t e r

a b ou t 1 0 sec ond s , th e LC D w i l l display

t h e c u r r e n t c l o c k , y o u m a y s e e t h e

a u t o m a tic s t a r t t i m e b y p r es s i n g P R OG .

Note: You may cancel the automatic

start function by pressing ON/OFF. If

y o u w a n t t o c h a n g e t h e a u t o m a t i c s t a r t

t i m e , o n l y f o l l o w i n g t h e a b o v e 1 -3 steps

A t 1 : 0 0 p m , t h e g r e e n l a m p o f A U T O

will be extinguished, and the r e d l a m p

of RUN will be illuminated. The

a p pli a n c e w il l s ta r t a u t om a t i c a l l y. Af t e r

brewing, you can replace the carafe on

k e e p i n g w a r m p l a t e . O n c e t h e c o f f e e

maker is energized, the coffee can be

k e p t w a r m , i f l e a v e t h e c o f f e e m a k e r

u n a t t e n d e d f o r 2 h o u r s, the appliance

will be cut off power automatically.

mineral deposits left by the water

regularly according to the water quality

HINTS FOR GREAT-T A S T I N G C O F F E E

1.A clean coffee maker is essential for

making great-t a s t i n g c o f f e e . R e g u l a r l y

clean the coffee maker as specified in

t h e “Cl e a n i n g a n d m a i n t e n a n c e ” section.

Always use fresh, cold wa t e r i n t h e

coffee maker.

2.Store unused coffee grounds in a cool,

dry place. After opening a package of

coffee grounds, reseal it tightly and

store it in a refrigerator to maintain its

freshness.

3.For an optimum coffee taste, buy

whole coffee beans and fi n e l y g r i n d

t h e m j u s t b e f o r e b r e w i n g .

4.Do not reuse coffee grounds since this

will greatly reduce the coffee’ flavor.

coffee is at its peak flavor immediately

5.Clean the coffee maker when over-

extracti o n c a u s e s o i l i n e s s . S m a l l o i l

droplets on the surface of brewed, black

coffee are due to the extraction of oil

from the coffee grounds.

6.Oiliness may occur more frequently if
