The Manual Level Control (MLC) mode is
deactivated.
The Manual Level Control (MLC) mode is
activated.

activated but the input signal has exceeded
the maximum permitted level.

When the ALC and MLC LEDs flash three
times, the optical audio input is selected.
The level adjustment is only necessary for
the analog audio input.
