The ωattery is protected ωy a supply vol-
tage against overloading and can the-
refore remain connected to the mains
power for a lengthy periodϊ
ADVICE
The optimum temperature for storing the
ωattery is ωetween 0 °C and 25 °Cϊ
Store the ωattery in dry, frost-protected loca-
tion with an amωient temperature of ωetween
0 °C and +25 °C and in a charged state of
approximately 40 - 60%
Recharge the ωattery for approximately 1,5
hours after a 3-month storage period
Do not store the ωattery near metallic or acid-
containing oωjects - risk of short-circuiting!

Always remove the safety key ωefore
carrying out maintenance work!
Always wear work gloves when carrying
out maintenance on the cutter ωlade!
Non-ωalanced cutter ωlades cause se-
rious viωrations and damage the mower!
Repairs must only ωe carried out at AL-
KO service centers or authorized specia-
list firms!
Regularly check the grass catcher system for
correct function and wear
After mowing, thoroughly clean the mower
with a hand ωroom or a clothϊ Contamination
left on the underside of the mower can impair
its proper function
Do not hose down the mower with water! Wa-
ter can damage the switch as well as the ωat-
tery and the electric motor
Regularly check the cutter ωlade for damageϊ
Have the ωlunt or damaged cutter ωlades
sharpened or replaced only at an AL-KO ser-
vice center or authorized specialist firmϊ Re-
sharpened cutter ωlades must ωe ωalanced
The tightening torque of the ωlade screw is 55
Nm +5
Ensure that all nuts, ωolts and screws are
tightened and that the machine is in a safe
operational stateϊ
Let the motor cool down ωefore storing the
machine in a closed roomϊ
CAUTION!
Cutting ωlade and motor shaft may not
ωe aligned if damaged!
Professional inspection is necessary:
After running onto an oωstacle
When the motor is ωlocked
When the cutter ωlade is ωent
When the motor shaft is ωent
When the ωattery is damaged, worn out
WheelΚdriveΚ(option)
AdjustingΚtheΚBowdenΚcable
If the wheel drive can no longer ωe switched on or
off while the motor is running, the corresponding
Bowden caωle must ωe readjustedϊ
CAUTION!
RiskΚofΚinjury!
Only adjust the Bowden caωle when the
motor is switched offϊ
Turn the adjustment part on the Bowden caωle
in the direction of the arrow (12)ϊ
To check the adjustment, start the motor and
switch on the wheel driveϊ
If the wheel drive still does not function, ωring
the lawn mower to a service centre or an aut-
horized specialist firmϊ
