AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK. Prevent body contact with grounded surfaces.
Never leave the plug connected to the mains when the appliance is not being
used. Check regularly that the power supply cable does not show signs of
wear or other types of deterioration. Care must be taken to ensure the mains
connection lead is not damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified engineer
in oder to avoid any potential hazard. The appliance should not be used if the
power supply cable is not in perfect condition. Do not use the cable to pull the
plug out of the socket. Avoid electrical shock hazard. Never use this vacuum
cleaner with a damaged or frayed electrical cords regularly. Never use in or
near water or in any environment where electric shock is possible. Only use
appropriately rated extension cords.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE NOTE
FILTER CLEANING
To keep the appliance clean and working properly, the filter
and the bag should be cleaned regularly. The float should be kept clean and
regularly checked. Never carry out any maintenance on the machine without
first disconnecting from the mains supply. Release the two locking clips and
remove the suction unit. If the paper filter is torn, it should be replaced: if
it is only dusty, the dust should be removed. If the cloth filters are dirty,
wash them with soap and water. Make sure they are completely dry before
re-using them.
GENERAL NOTES
The float valve must be kept clean and periodically checked to avoid damages
to the appliance. Ensure that the float is not damaged or obstructed by any-
thing that may stop it from rising. This function is to stop the suction when
the tank is full or if the machine should overturn accidentally. During cleaning,
maintenance or the replacement of parts, switch the motor off and discon-
nect the plug from the mains. NEVER USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHICH IS
DEFECTIVE OR OPERATING ABNORMALLY. If the vacuum cleaner appears to
be operating unusually, making strange noises, or otherwise apperas defec-
tive, stop using it immediately and arrange for repairs by a authorized service
centre. DO NOT WIPE PLASTIC PARTS WITH SOLVENT. Solvents such as
gasoline, thinner, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, and alcohol may damage
and crack plastic parts. Do not wipe them with such solvents. Wipe plastic
parts with a soft cloth lightly dampened with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
USE ONLY GENUINE REPLACEMENT PARTS. Replacement parts that are not
original may void your warranty and can lead to malfunction and resulting
injuries. Genuine parts are available from your dealer. DO NOT MODIFY THE
VACUUM CLEANER. Always contact the authorized service centre for any
repairs. Unauthorized modification may not only impair the vacuum cleaner
performance but may also result in accident or injury to the repair personnel
who do not have the required knowledge and technical expertise to perform
the repair operations correctly.
STORAGE
PLEASE STORE PROPERLY. When not in use, the vacuum cleaner must be
stored in a dry place. Please keep out of the reach of children.
EXAMPLES OF APPLICATION
This appliance has been designed for heavier duties than normal domestic
applications, and can be used for cleaning up the following:

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Take the appliance out of the packaging using the appropriate handle. Release
the two locking clip. Remove the suction unit. Withdraw the accessories con-
tained in the drum. Turn the tank upside down in order to mount the castors.
Check the filters. Re-insert the suction unit into the drum: push the hose into
the hose connector: attach the extension tube or the cleaning tools to the
hose as required.

ATTENTION: in case of intensive use or for large liquid amounts, it is recom-
mended to use the optional polyurethane filter. Tank is filled gradually, when
the max level is reached, float utomatically close the opening of the suction.
When the float blocks the air intake and the machine is no longer working,
noise of the engine grows up. In this event switch OFF and remove electrica
plug from the wall socket, remove the flex pipe and head, by releasing the
fixing hooks. Then empty and dry up the basket.
USE OF THE ELECTRIC SOCKET (PE Models)
Vacuum cleaner is equipped with a 3 position switch:
position 0 machine OFF
position I Vacuum ON
position II Vacuum ON + electrical power socket
As long as a power tool. Connected to the electrica socket, i working, vacuum
cleaner will also keep on working. When stopping power tool, vacuum cleaner
will work other 10 seconds before stopping. If using a power tool DO NOT
USE vacuum cleaner for liquids. Max power allowed 1800W, DO NOT USE
more than one power tool at the same time.

NORME DI SICUREZZA GENERALI
ATTENZIONE
Fate attenzione a cosa state facendo. Usate il buon senso comune. Non usa-
te l’aspiratore quando siete stanchi. L’aspiratore non deve essere mai usato
sotto l’effetto dell’alcool, droga o medicinali che possano indurre sonnolenza.
Evitate che l’apparecchio sia collocato a distanza ravvicinata ad organi delicati
quali: orecchie, bocca, occhi, ecc. Non usare mai l’aspiratore senza che tutte
le protezioni siano perfettamente montate al proprio posto; se la manutenzio-
ne o il servizio richiedono di rimuovere queste protezioni assicuratevi che pri-
ma di utilizzare nuovamente l’aspiratore le protezioni siano ben fissate al po-
sto originale. Non lasciate incustodito l’apparecchio funzionante. Non lasciate
l’apparecchio incustodito in presenza di bambini od incapaci. Tenere l’area di
lavoro ben ventilata. Non usare l’aspiratore in presenza di liquidi infiammabili
o gas. L’aspiratore può produrre scintille durante il funzionamento. Non usare
l’aspiratore in situazioni dove si possono trovare vernici, benzine, sostanze
chimiche, adesivi e ogni altro materiale combustibile o esplosivo. Non im-
mergere l’apparecchio in acqua per la pulizia, né lavarlo con getti d’acqua a
pressione. Spegnere immediatamente l’apparecchio in caso di fuoriuscita di
liquido o schiuma. Per una buona conservazione e durata dell’apparecchio,
proteggerlo da forti sorgenti di calore, dall’umidità, dalla polvere o da agenti
atmosferici. TENERE PULITA LA GRIGLIA DI ASPIRAZIONE Tenere la griglia
di ventilazione del motore pulita. Pulire regolarmente questa griglia se l’am-
biente di lavoro è molto sporco. PARTENZE ACCIDENTALI Non trasportare
l’aspiratore mentre è collegato alla fonte elettrica. Assicurarsi che l’interrut-
tore sia nella posizione OFF prima di collegare l’aspiratore alla fonte elettrica.
NORME DI SICUREZZA ELETTRICHE
FAR FUNZIONARE L’ASPIRATORE ALLA TENSIONE specificata sulla targhetta
dei dati elettrici. L’apparecchio viene fornito completo di spina per l’allac-
ciamento alla linea elettrica. PROTEGGI TE STESSO CONTRO GLI SHOCK
ELETTRICI Prevenire contatti accidentali del corpo con le parti metalliche
dell’aspiratore. Non lasciate mai la spina inutilmente collegata alla rete se
l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato. Controllate periodicamente che il cavo di
allacciamento in rete non sia danneggiato o rovinato ed altro ancora. Prestate
particolare attenzione al cavo di alimentazione che non venga danneggiato
passandoci sopra con carrelli od altro. Si deve inoltre evitare che il cavo venga
esposto a strappi. Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve essere
sostituito dal costruttore o dal servizio di assistenza tecnica o comunque da
una persona con qualifica similare, in moda da prevenire ogni rischio. L’ap-
parecchio non deve essere utilizzato se il cavo di allacciamento in rete non è
in perfette condizioni. Non estrarre la spina della presa di corrente tirandola
per il cavo di alimentazione. Nel caso vengono utilizzate prolunghe elettriche,
assicurarsi che queste poggino su superfici asciutte e protette da eventuali
spruzzi d’acqua. Fate attenzione ai bordi taglienti e a fonti di calore. Utilizzare
prolunghe elettriche idonee e omologate.
MANUTENZIONE / ASSISTENZA TECNICA
PULIZIA FILTRI
La costante e corretta pulizia di filtro e sacchetto aiutano a
mantenere pulito ed in perfetta efficienza l’apparecchio. Osservare le seguenti
istruzioni:
Estrarre la spina di corrente
Allentare i ganci di fissaggio ed aprire la testata-motore
Sostituire immediatamente il filtro di carta, se danneggiato
Pulire il filtro in materiale tessile con acqua e sapone.
Attenzione: prima del riutilizzo lasciarlo asciugare perfettamente.
NOTE GENERICHE SULLA MANUTENZIONE ED ASSISTENZA:
Il galleggiante deve essere mantenuto pulito e controllato periodicamente.
Assicurarsi che il galleggiante – che ha la funzione di fermare l’aspirazione
quando il fusto è completamente pieno di liquido – in caso di ribaltamento
dell’apparecchio, non presenti danneggiamenti od ostruzioni che possono
impedirne la salita. Durante la pulizia, la manutenzione oppure in caso di so-
stituzione pezzi, spegnere il motore e togliere la spina dalla rete. NON USARE
MAI L’ASPIRATORE SE E’ DIFETTOSO Se l’aspiratore lavora emettendo strani
rumori o eccessive vibrazioni o appare difettoso, fermatelo immediatamente
e verificate la funzionalità o contattate il più vicino centro assistenza auto-
rizzato. NON PULIRE PARTI DI PLASTICA CON SOLVENTI come benzina,
diluenti, gasolio o altre sostanze che contengono alcool, non strofinare questi
componenti sulle parti in plastica. Pulire eventualmente queste parti con un
panno morbido e acqua. USARE SOLO PARTI DI RICAMBIO ORIGINALI. L’u-
tilizzazione di parti di ricambio non originali provocano l’annullamento della
garanzia e un malfunzionamento dell’aspiratore. I pezzi di ricambio originali
sono disponibili presso i distributori autorizzati. NON MODIFICARE L’ASPI-
RATORE. Consultare un centro assistenza autorizzato per tutte le riparazioni.
Una modifica non autorizzata può diminuire le prestazioni, ma può anche es-
sere la causa di gravi incidenti per le persone che non hanno la conoscenza
tecnica necessaria per effettuare delle modifiche.

STOCCAGGIO / IMMAGAZZINAMENTO
STOCCARE l’aspiratore IN MANIERA APPROPRIATA Quando l’aspiratore non
è utilizzato deve essere tenuto in un locale secco al riparo dagli agenti atmo-
sferici. Tenere lontano dai bambini.

Oltre alle normali pulizie domestiche può essere utilizzato per aspirare:

Da lavandini intasati • Da zone particolarmente bagnate. In caso di allagamenti
Importante: verificare sempre il tipo di filtro più indicato in base al materiale
da aspirare.
MODI DI OPERARE
Estrarre l’apparecchio dall’imballo utilizzando l’apposita maniglia Allentare i
due ganci di bloccaggio Asportare il gruppo di aspirazione Estrarre gli acces-
sori contenuti nel fusto Capovolgere il serbatoio per inserirvi le ruote Control-
lare i filtri Reinserire il gruppo di aspirazione nel fusto; inserire a pressione
la ghiera del tubo flessibile, ed applicare al tubo flessibile la prolunga o gli
accessori terminali secondo l’utilizzo previsto.

Utilizzare esclusivamente il filtro in spugna
AVVERTENZA:
In caso di utilizzo intensivo o per grandi quantità di liquido, si consiglia l’uti-
lizzo del filtro opzionale in poliuretano.
Attenzione: quando si aspirano liquidi il serbatoio si riempie gradualmente, al
raggiungimento del livello massimo l’aspirazione si blocca automaticamente
(segnalato da un rumore più acuto). In tale evenienza spegnere e scollegare
la presa elettrica, scollegare il tubo di aspirazione e rimuovere la testata, suc-
cessivamente svuotare ed asciugare il contenitore.
UTILIZZO DELLA PRESA ELETTRICA
I modelli dotati di presa elettrica, presentano un interruttore rettangolare a
tre posizioni:
0 Macchina spenta
I Funzionamento aspiratore
II Abilitazione presa elettrica
Fintanto che verrà utilizzato un elettroutensile collegato alla presa, l’aspira-
tore continuerà a funzionare. Nel momento in cui interromperete il lavoro
con l’utensile, l’aspiratore funzionerà per altri 10 secondi prima di arrestarsi.
Attenzione: quando collegate un elettroutensile alla presa NON UTILIZZARE
L’ASPIRATORE PER LIQUIDI. Potenza max. ammessa 1800 Watt, NON utiliz-
zare più di un elettroutensile per volta.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing this product: we would like you to read this
Operation and Maintenance Instruction Manual thoroughly.
TO OBTAIN MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE FROM YOUR APPLIANCE
AND TO ENSURE THE LONG WORKING LIFE OF ITS PARTS, ALL
THE INTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS BOOKLET SHOULD BE
FOLLOWED CAREFULLY.
The use of this machine for anything not specified in this manual may be dan-
gerous and must be avoided. The fallowing points should be observed before
using the appliance: If on unpacking the vacuum cleaner you discover that it
has been damaged during trasportation, please contact either the place where
you purchased the vacuum cleaner from, or the consumer enquiries helpline
number on the back of this user guide. To avoid damage during trasportation
some of the accessories before operating the appliance. The appliance is sup-
plied complete with plug for connection to the electricity mains supply: For
plug and supply voltages please refer to the TECHNICAL DATA section. The
models described in this Booklet are all similar and the instructions are vaild
for all the models unless otherwise stated.
IMPORTANT
Most accidents that result from vacuum cleaners operation and
maintenance are caused by the failure to observe basic safety rules
or precautions. An accident can often be avoided by recognizing a
potentially hazardous situation before it occurs, and by observing appropriate
safety procedures. Basic safety precautions are indicated throughout this In-
struction Manual. Death or serious bodily injury could result from improper
or unsafe use of the vacuum cleaner. Never try to pick up: hot ashed, explo-
sive liquids or vapours, undiluted acids or solvents, mud, petrol, paint thinner
or fuel oil, inflammable or toxic liquids such as toner for photocopiers or
other volatile substances, (materials which when sucked into a vortex with
aspirated air could develop explosive vapours or mixtures), acetone, undi-
luted acids and solvents (materials which could corrode the appliance), cig-
arette-ends (if still alight), hot coals and so forth, asbestos or asbestos dust.
PLEASE SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND MAKE THEM AVAILABLE TO
OTHER USERS OF THIS MACHINE.
STAY ALERT. Use common sense. Do not operate when you are tired. The
vacuum cleaner should never be used by you if are under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or medication that makes you drowsy. Keep the appliance at
a safe distance from delicate parts of the body such as: ears, mouth, eyes
etc. NEVER OPERATE WITHOUT ALL GUARDS IN PLACE. Never operate
this vacuum cleaner nuless all guards and safety features are in place and
in proper working order. If maintenance or servicing requires the removal of
guard or safety features, be sure to replace the guards or safety feature before
resuming operation of the vacuum cleaner. Never leave the equipment unat-
tended whilst in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended in the presence of
children or other inexperienced persons. KEEP WORK AREA TIDY. Cluttered
areas invite injuries. Clear all work areas of unnecessary tools, debris, furni-
ture etc... the machine should never be immersed in water or cleaned with a
water pressure jet washer. If foam or liquid is seen coming from the machine
exhaust please switch off immediately. To prolong the life of this appliance, it
should be correctly stored away from strong heat sources, humidity, dust and
other atmospheric influences. KEEP MOTOR AIR VENT CLEAN. The motor
air vent must be kept clean so that air can flow freely at all times. Check for
dust build-up frequently. AVOID UNINTENTIONAL STARTING. Do not carry
the vacuum cleaner while it is connected to its power source. Make sure the
main switch is in the “OFF” position before connecting the vacuum cleaner
to its power source.
