5. PREPARATION AND OPERATION
Speaker placement
• Place the speakers symmetrically to the listener at a distance of
not less than one meter.
MSS Connecting
Sven 250 speaker system can be connected virtually to any audio
device: DVD/CD, PC sound card, etc. (see Fig. 2 below)
• Before connecting, make sure that the MSS is unplugged.
• Connect the signal cable built into the active speaker to output
jack of your PC sound card, MP3 or CD player, etc, see Fig. 2.
Use
mini-jack to 2RCA adapter (not included) for connection of DVD-player, TV-set etc.
• Connect the mini-jack of the power adapter cable (included) to the active speaker input socket,
as shown in Fig. 2, and put the power adapter plug into a mains socket.
• Set volume level to minimum by turning VOL a wheel, switch on POWER b switch on the active
speaker. Power LED d will light up.
• Adjust the VOL a volume control wheel to an approppriate level.
• Connect your headphones to the headphone jack c (see Fig. 1).
Notes:
• After using the MSS, mind to unplug the power cable of the device from the mains socket.
• To improve sound quality, use Line-Out output of the sound card.
