Typicalworkflow
Mountingtheoutdoorunittypicallyconsistsofthefollowingstages:
1 Providingtheinstallationstructure.
2 Installingtheoutdoorunit.
3 Providingdrainage.
4 Preventingtheoutdoorunitfromfallingover.
5 Protectingtheunitagainstsnowandwindbyinstallingasnow
cover and baffle plates. See "Preparing installation site" in
"5Preparation"onpage7.

unit

6.3.3 Toprovidetheinstallationstructure
Check the strength and level of the installation ground so that the
unitwillnotcauseanyoperatingvibrationornoise.
Fix the unit securely by means of foundation bolts in accordance
withthefoundationdrawing.
Prepare 4sets of anchorbolts, nuts andwashers (field supply)as
follows:

The recommended height of the upper protruding part of
theboltsis20mm.

Fixtheoutdoorunittothefoundationboltsusingnutswith
resin washers (a). If the coating on the fastening area is
strippedoff,thenutsrusteasily.

6.3.4 Toinstalltheoutdoorunit

6.3.5 Toprovidedrainage
▪ Makesurethatcondensationwatercanbeevacuatedproperly.
▪ Install the unit on a base to make sure that there is a proper
drainageinordertoavoidiceaccumulation.
▪ Prepareawaterdrainagechannelaroundthefoundationtodrain
wastewatersurroundingtheunit.
▪ Avoid drain water flowing over the footpath, so that it does not
becomeslipperyincaseofambientfreezingtemperatures.
▪ Ifyou install theunitona frame, installawaterproofplate within
150 mm of the underside of the unit in order to prevent the
invasionofwaterintheunitandtoavoidthedrainwaterdripping
(seethefollowingillustration).
INFORMATION
Ifnecessary,youcanuseadrainplugkit(fieldsupply)to
preventdrainwaterfromdripping.
NOTICE
Ifdrainholesoftheoutdoorunitarecoveredbyamounting
base or by floor surface, raise the unit to provide a free
spaceofmorethan150mmundertheoutdoorunit.
