Gas forced heater

6. SERVICE

1. Regularly check the integrity of the gas hose between the gas pressure reducer and gas valve

of the appliance. If any damage of the hose is found, operation of the appliance is prohibited and

the hose should be replaced.

2. Regularly check all gas joints, pipes, and devices for gas leaks (using soapy water). If any gas leak

is found, immediately switch the heater o, disconnect the gas cylinder, and contact the dealer or

manufacturer’s service center.

3. The appliance should be regularly washed to remove dust and dirt from outer surfaces, since

they aect eciency of its operation and temperature parameters of room heating. Before

commencing preventive maintenance, switch the appliance o and let the appliance cool down

and then wipe its surface with slightly wet so rag.

4. Detergents including those containing abrasives in composition are not recommended for

washing. Exclude damage of the appliance with sharp objects, since scratches on the painted

surface may result in rusting.

5. The rear surface of the gas-red heater also should be periodically cleaned to remove dust

and dirt. The procedure of preventive cleaning should be carried out periodically to maintain the

technical condition of the heater and keep its appearance for long years.

Troubleshooting

The motor does not work • No electricity supply

• The safety thermostat is on

• The cylinder gas tap is closed

• Remove the nozzle and

clean it.

• Check that the solenoid valve

• Check the position of

electrode

The burner lights up but aer

few seconds the heater stops

• No connection with the earth-

ing system

• Defective connection between

sensor and safety device

• Defective safety device

• Check and connect properly

• Replace the safety device

The heater stops during

operation

• Excessive gas supply

• Insucient air ow

• Insucient gas supply due to

ice formation on the cylinder

• Check the pressure reducer

and if required replace it

• Check that the motor works

properly

• Check and use a larger

cylinder or two cylinders

connected together

If you are not able to remedy a malfunction according to the recommendations or other

malfunctions occur, contact the authorized service center of Hyundai.
