Follow the safety notes in the "Safety/Regulations" manual when
connecting or disconnecting cables.
If a fault occurs, try to correct it as described. If you fail to correct the problem, proceed as follows:
Make a note o f the steps and the circumstances that led to the fault. Also
make a note of any error m essages displayed.
Switch the Tablet PC off.
Contact the Ho tline/Service Desk.
You can nd the telephone numbers in the service desk list. Have the
following information ready when you c all:
The model name and serial number of the Tab let PC. The serial number
is located on a sticker on the un derside of the Tablet PC.
Alternatively, you can look up the serial numbe r in the operating system: Select
Settings > About the tablet > Status. The serial number is stored in the Serial number eld.
Notes of any messages that appear on the screen a nd information on acoustic signals.
Your system conguration and all peripheral devices connected to your system.

Should you encounter a problem with your computer that you c anno t r eso lve yourself:
Note the serial number of your device. You will nd the serial number on the
sticker on the on the ba ck of the Tablet PC.

Have the se
rial number of your system ready for this purpose.
Using the Reset button
If the device no longer reacts to input or the ON/OFF switch, use the Reset button to r estart the device.
Disconnect the device from the mains adapter.
Open th
e slot cover of the SIM card and the memory card.
Press a pe n or a piece of wire (e .g. a paperclip) rmly into the opening
of the Reset button to restart the device.
Your d
evice v ibrates brieytoconrm the reset.
Replace the slot cover.
Conn
ect th e mains ad apter to the device again.
