1 Turn on your TV and set it to the video channel.

2 Insert a tape.

The VHS part turns on and starts playing

automatically if you insert a tape with its

safety tab removed.

3 Press · PLAY.

When the tape reaches the end, it will rewind automatically.

To set the colour system if streaks appear during playback set color system on this player to conform to the system that the tape was recorded in normally set the switch to auto 13

Each time you press the button the on screen display changes as follows 14

Using the on screen display you can check the operating status of the player and the information about the tape with the on screen display on the tv screen 14
When auto display is set to off under set up menu in the menu system the on screen display changes display on and off each time you press display 14

To save a recording to prevent accidental erasure break off the safety tab as illustrated to record on the tape again cover the tab hole with adhesive tape 30

Before you start editing turn on your tv and set it to the video channel press input select 2 to light up the button or press input select on the remote until line 2 appears press tape speed to select the tape speed sp or lp for the pal system and sp or ep for the ntsc system 32
