PURPOSE OF THE DEVICE

The device is intended for measurement of the weight and of the percentage of

body fat and hydration.

INSTRUCTION AND PRECAUTIONS

1. Using this device you can determine the percentage of body fat as well as

the hydration. The principle of operation of these scales is based on Bio-im-

pedance analysis (Bioelectric impedance analysis – BIA), which allows you to

determine the percentage of body fat as well as the content of water in your

organism based at such parameters as age, gender, height.

2. The data obtained during the measurements can be used only as reference

information. It is not recommended to use these values for medical goals.

For getting more information on the recommended diet, etc. see you doctor.

3. For people using pacemakers or any other implants with electronic com-

ponents it is not recommended to use this device. During the using of the

device the implant can be disabled.

4. To avoid accidental interferences do not use the scales near strong electro-

magnetic ﬁeld. Always install and use the scales away from such devices.

5. Use a soft and dry cloth to clean the scales. Do not immerse the appliance

in water. Do not use chemical cleaners to clean the appliance.

6. Before making measurements make sure that the working surface of the

scale is dry.

7. Place the scales on the dry ﬂat surface (not on the carpet). If you do not

plan to use the devise for long time remove the batteries from it.
