Preface
About This Manual
This manual is written for professional system integrators and PC technicians. It
provides information for the installation and use of the SC825 2U chassis. Installa-
tion and maintenance should be performed by experienced technicians only.
Supermicro’s SC825 2U chassis features a unique and highly optimized design.
The chassis is equipped with a 560W (single), 563W (single) 600W (single), 700W
(redundant) 710W (single), 720W (redundant) or 740W (redundant) high-efciency
power supply for superb power savings. High-performance fans provide ample
optimized cooling for the chassis.
This document lists compatible parts and congurations available when this docu-
ment was published. Always refer to the our website for updates on supported
parts and congurations.
