Connections
Water supply
Connect the appliance to a manually operated water
source/tap/faucet.
WARNING!
Never connect the appliance to a
polluted or biologically contaminated
water source.
Always use the new food-approved
hose set that is supplied with an
appliance.
If the appliance is tted with a lter
this is only ever intended for the
removal of undesirable avours or
aromatic substances from the water
(for example chlorine). The lter is not
intended to purify the water.
Always connect the appliance to a
human drinking water quality source.
Constant power supply
If a counter or other monitoring device is tted to the
appliance, for example a device to monitor the usable
life of the water lter, the appliance will need to be
connected to a constant voltage supply source to
ensure correct operational working of this feature.
Note that in the case of power failure, or outage to an
appliance, such monitoring devices will be disabled.
WARNING!
Do not connect or use the appliance
if the connection cord is damaged in
any way.
In case the connection cord is
damaged have authorised service
personnel replace it by a new cord.
WARNING!
If covers are removed, or work is done
inside the appliance, there is a risk of
electric shock or re.
Operation
General instructions for using the appliance
• Always inspect the appliance for damage before
using and if damaged do not use the appliance.
• If the power cord to the appliance is damaged
always make sure a qualied authorized person
carries out the replacement.
• Make sure that the power cord does not make
contact with the hot plate or other hot surfaces.
• Protect the appliance from water and moisture.
Do not apply or spray any moisture on the
appliance. Never submerge the appliance in water.
• Keep the operating controls free from dirt and
grease.
• Be aware that some parts of the appliance may
become very hot during use.
• Never insert sharp or metal objects into the
appliance or use sharp objects to operate the
operating controls.
Food safety
WARNING!
Dairy product allergic users should be
aware that some instant appliances
will use milk products and that
beverages that use the same mixing
beaker may contain dairy product
residues.
Transport
• While lled with drink, loose containers may not be
moved by the handles. Handles have been provided
to facilitate the handling of empty containers.
• Make use of a stable trolley for moving containers
lled with drink.
Temporary storage
Disconnect the electricity and water supply.
Before placing the appliance for temporary storage:
• Clean the outside surfaces of the appliance.
• Completely discharge and clean the appliance and
accessories.
After removing the appliance from temporary storage:
• Before using the appliance, follow the instructions
for rst time use of the appliance.
