PRICES & SALES TAXES
Every state charges sales tax. We must charge sales tax on all
applicable items and to all organizations in AZ, CA, FL, GA, IA,
IL, IN, KY, LA, MI, NC, NY, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VT, WA and
WV until the appropriate exemption certificate has been properly
documented and sent to us. There can be no exceptions – sales tax
laws cannot be violated without serious consequences. Any prices
in this catalog are F.O.B. Cincinnati. Prices are subject to change
without notice.
SPECIFICATIONS
In this catalog, there may be typographical errors, which we
reserve the right to correct. Some photos are of prototypes and
actual production may vary. Some specifications are changed
to improve equipment during the course of the year. Improving
design and equipment performance is a continuous way of life
here at Gold Medal.
TELEPHONE ORDERS AND OFFICE HOURS
Gold Medal is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST Monday through Friday
year-round, as well as Saturdays during the summer months from
8 a.m. to 12 noon (all branches plus headquarters). Call
1-800-543-0862 or (513) 769-7676 for Cincinnati or the 800
numbers shown on the back cover for branch locations and
specific directions.
FAX, EMAIL & WEB PAGE INFO
You can contact us 24 hours a day and leave a message. Our
toll-free fax order line is 1-800-542-1496. You can ask questions
and either leave your own fax number, telephone number or email
address. We will get back at a time convenient to you.
Our email address is info@gmpopcorn.com. Our central telephone
switchboard also receives several messages every day. As soon
as we open for business on the next business day, these calls are
returned. Many Gold Medal team members have their own direct
1-800 numbers as well. We want to stay in touch with you!
TERMS
If you have not already established credit with Gold Medal, we’re
happy to handle your orders on cash-with-order basis, or we accept
MasterCard, Discover and Visa. To establish an open account, send
us the name of your bank and three firms that extend you open
account. We do not ship C.O.D.
RETURNED GOODS
Requests for returned goods should be made by calling Gold Medal
Cincinnati, extension 2340 for a “return authorization” (RA Form). No
food products or food packaging may be returned. You can fax in
your completed RA Form to 513-733-5678.
INTERNATIONAL SALES
Gold Medal is actively represented in many, many international
cities. Of course, we are always interested in establishing
relationships in cities where there is no Gold Medal international
dealer. Fax us or email us for the name of the international
distributor nearest you. Or, if there is none, maybe it is time to
establish you as a distributor if you qualify.

Methods of Shipment
The best way of getting your shipment to you at the
lowest cost is to specify “Best Way” on your order. Our
shipping department will use the best all-around routing.
PLEASE ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME – all carriers do
not render the speedy service as in the past. We use
all popular methods of shipment: Truck Lines, Freight
Forwarders, Bus, Parcel Post, United Parcel, Air Freight.
SHIPPING CHARGES
Please call for pricing.
TRUCK LINES
With good service from Cincinnati and, despite
increased truck rates, this is best method for 100 lb. or
more shipments. We can prepay freight and add it to our
bill, but we must add a handling charge for this service.
PRIORITY MAIL, UPS OR FEDEX GROUND
By far, Priority Mail has become the most satisfactory!
Small parcels get the best treatment from Priority Mail.
It is unwise to send equipment such as Ice Shavers,
Poppers or Hot Dog equipment via UPS or FedEx
Ground – although we have sent some 6-oz. machines
by FedEx Ground and UPS with moderate success.
AIR FREIGHT
In a hurry? It’s your call – if you pay the freight, you
may choose from “same day” such as NEXT DAY, or
SECOND DAY SERVICES or even DEFERRED AIR
FREIGHTS. When you pay the freight, let us help you
“have it your way!”
Directions
Gold Medal occupies over 400,000 square feet – over 10 acres
under roof – over 20 loading docks, and we are still growing.
We are very easy to find. From I-75, take Exit 15-Sharon Rd.
Go east until you come to Medallion Drive – we are halfway between
Sharon Road and Glendale-Milford. Come visit. Our “Fastop” is our
customer service department here.
