• Only a qualified installer 1 or qualified service person 1 is allowed to relocate the air conditioner it is dangerous for the air conditioner to be relocated by an unqualified individual since a fire electric shocks injury water leakage noise and or vibration may result when carrying out the pump down work shut down the compressor before disconnecting the refrigerant pipe disconnecting the refrigerant pipe with the service valve left open and the compressor still operating will cause air etc to be sucked in raising the pressure inside the refrigeration cycle to an abnormally high level and possibly resulting in reputing injury etc 1 refer to the definition of qualified installer or qualified service person p.10

• Tightening torque of flare pipe connections pressure of r410a is higher than that of r22 approx 1 times therefore using a torque wrench tighten the flare pipe connecting sections which connect the indoor and outdoor units of the specified tightening torque incorrect connections may cause not only a gas leak but also a trouble of the refrigeration cycle align the centres of the connecting pipes and tighten the flare nut as far as possible with your fingers then tighten the nut with a spanner and torque wrench as shown in the figure p.77
