OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Only qualified or trained personnel should use this appliance.
Before first use, ‘season’ (prepare) the cooking surface. Cover the surface with salt
to a depth of 2-3mm. Connect the appliance to an electrical supply the green
neon illuminates to indicate power to the appliance. Turn the control knob on and
heat the salt until it changes colour. Remove all salt with a scraper or brush. Cover
the surface with vegetable oil and heat up the oil. Scrape the oil down the drainage
hole and into the fat drawer. Pour fresh oil onto the griddle plate and begin cooking.
During use, the amber neon will extinguish when the set temperature is reached,
and will then cycle as the element operates.
CLEANING
Do not use a water jet or steam cleaner, and do not immerse this appliance.
Clean all panels with warm water and mild detergent, do not use abrasive
materials. Dry with a soft cloth.
