Detailed operation for buttons
HOLD (hold the current temperature)
• In the normal working mode, press HOLD once, MCU will record their measured
temperature data and show it on the LCD without changing. It will keep un-
changed any more, regardless of sensor measured temperature changed or not.
• Press HOLD again, the display will not reserve, after sensor measured the new
data, it will show the current data, and enter the normal working mode.
• When press HOLD button, the readings will show unchanged, and sensor won’t
measure the temperature (for economizing on electricity, because it is useless to
measure the temperature, the LCD won’t show it), unless press HOLD button
again, it will begin to measure and show the renewed temperature at once.
• When turn on HOLD, LCD will show HOLD symbol, after turn off, it will be without it.
• Only when the probe input, it do have this functions.
MAX-MIN MEMORY
(show max. and min. memory data after thermometer switch ON. During switch
ON lo-hi (HI/ALARM-LO/ALARM) temperature alert:
• Press MAX-MIN MEMORY button once, the upper line will show the max. and
min. memory data when power on, the left side is for Min data, the right one
is for Max. data.
• After pressing and hold the buttons for 5 seconds, it will return to the normal
working mode.( after turn on the HI and LO ALARM, the current display is the
temperature of alarm.)
• The memorized data will be clear automatically after power off (press ON/OFF
button), it will resume to measure the max and min data after restart the unit.
• While the temperature alarm is ON, press the button once can show the mem-
orized max and min data after power on.
• Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, it will clear the max and min data.
• While inserting or pull the probe, it will clear the max and min data.
