Height/weather forecast/atmospheric pressure unit

•Press and hold the HISTORY button (29) for approx. 3seconds to make the following settings one after

the other:

height of the location, symbol for the current weather conditions, atmospheric pressureunit (hPa/ inhg)

•Toselect the individual values, press the + button (27) or the – button (28) and conrm each selection by

pressing the HISTORY button (29).

Note

•The height at the current location and the current weather form the basis for calculating the atmospheric

pressureand the weather forecast.

•Ifyou should not know the values for these variables, you can nd further information in the Internet,

from the local meteorological oce, on the radio, etc.

•Werecommend that you adapt these values to your location to increase the accuracy of the weather

forecast.

•Aheight of 590 mand slightly cloudy weather areused as standard.

6.5. Weather forecast/ atmospheric pressure history

•Based on changes in the atmospheric pressureand the data saved, the base station is able to make weather

forecasts for the next 12 to 24 hours.

Note –Weather forecast

The weather forecast function is not available during the rst few hours of operation because it requires

data that is collected during operation.
