Descaling

– ensuresproperfunction;
– savesenergy.
Descalethekettle1withvinegarora
commercialdescalingagent.
● Fillthekettle1withwateruptothe1.7
markandbringtoaboil.Next,adda
smallamountofwhitevinegarandletit
sitforseveralhours.Youcanalsousea
commercialdescalingproductandfollow
themanufacturer’sinstructions.
● Rinsethekettle1andthelimescalelter
5withclearwater.
Tip:Ifyouusethekettledaily,descalemore
frequently.
Beforeusing
forthersttime
● Removeanystickersorlm.
● Unrolltherightamountofcablefromthe
cabletidy7andplugitin.
● Fillthekettle1withwater.Bringthe
watertoaboilanddiscardit.Repeatthe
procedure.Thiswillmakesurethatthe
kettleiscleanfornormaluse.
● Whenthewatercomestoaboilforthe
rsttime,addatablespoonofwhite
vinegar.
Boilingwater
● Fillthekettlewithfreshwaterthroughthe
spoutortheopenlid2(presslidrelease
button3).
● Readthequantityonthewaterlevel
indicator.Donotllwithlessthan0.25
litresormorethan1.7litresofwater!
● Closethelid2untilitlocksandplacethe
kettle1onthebase6.
● Pressdowntheswitch4;theswitchlights
up.Thewaterisheated.
● Thekettleswitchesoffautomaticallyonce
thewaterhasboiled.
Theappliancecanalsobeswitchedoff
atanytimebypullinguptheON/OFFO
switch4.
Warning:Ifyouremovethekettle1from
thebaseandreplaceitbeforetheheating
processisover,thekettlewillcontinueto
heatthewater.
N.B.:Onlyoperatethekettlewiththelid2
closedandthelimescalelter5inserted,
otherwisethekettlewillnotswitchoff.
Forphysicalreasons,thebase6may
collectsomecondensationwater.Thisis
normal;itdoesnotmeanthatthekettle1

Afterboiling,letthekettlecooldownfor5
minutesbeforerellingitwithwater.
