PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed to avoid the risks to your health 1 Read all instructions before operating the appliance 2 Before connecting the kettle to the power supply check that the voltage indicated on the appliance underside the kettle and base corresponds with the voltage in your home If this is not the case contact your dealerand do not use the kettle 3 Unplug from the outlet when notin use 4 Do not let the cable hang over edge of table counter or touch hot surface 5 Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven 6 Do not operate without water otherwise heater element would be damaged 7 Ensure that kettle is used on a firm and flat surface where the children can t touch This can prevent from overturning the kettle to damage the person or kettle 8 To protect against a fire electric shock or personal injury do not immerse cord electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids 9 While water boiling avoid contacting with steam from the spout when water is boiling or just after it has switch off Do not be anxious to uncoverthelid 10 Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast 11 Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot 12 The kettle is for household use only not for outdoor 13 Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning allow cooling before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance 14 Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles 15 If the supply cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard 16 The kettle can only use with the stand provided 17 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance 18 Keep this manual in a safe place
