DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
Disconnect the machine from the
compressed air supply.
Remove all accessories.
Disassembling the turbine (see gure 2)
● Hold the housing (11) in one hand and remove
the turbine assembly by pulling the collet-holder
(22) or the collet nut (27) or the coupling fork
(29).
● Position a at wrench on the ats of the collet-
holder (22) or of the collet nut (27) or coupling
fork (29), then unscrew the governor (13).
Do not dismantle the governor, as it is an
integral assembly.
● Disassemble the turbine (see gure 3).
● CLAMP THE ROTOR SLIGHTLY IN A VICE
FITTED WITH LEAD JAWS, then unscrew the
collet-holder (22) or the collet nut (27) or the
coupling fork (29).
Reassembling the turbine
● Proceed in reverse order with respect to
disassembly.
Be careful with the direction for
assembling the blades.
● Apply a small quantity of “Loctite 222” on the
thread of the governor (13) before tightening it
to a 1.4N.m. torque.
Be careful with the direction for
assembling the cylinder, align the lugs of
the rear end plate (15) with the cylinder
(16) throttle.
Disassembling the front housing
● Remove the spacer (30).
● Using a mallet, tap on the end of the collet-
holder (22 or 25) to remove the shaft assembly.
● Unscrew the coupling fork (29), extract bearing
(21), spacer (32) and the 3 bearings (33).
● For re-assembly, proceed in reverse order.
LIMITED WARRANTY
1. This Chicago Pneumatic product is warranted
against defective workmanship or materials,
for a maximum period of 12 months following
the date of purchase from Chicago Pneumatic
or its agents, provided that its usage is limited
to single shift operation throughout that period.
If the usage rate exceeds that of single shift
operation, the warranty period shall be reduced
on a prorata basis.
2. If, during the warranty period, the product
appears to be defective in workmanship or
materials, it should be returned to Chicago
Pneumatic or its agents, together with a short
description of the alleged defect. Chicago
Pneumatic shall, at its sole discretion, arrange
to repair or replace free of charge such items
as are deemed faulty by reason of defective
workmanship or materials.
3. This warranty ceases to apply to products
which have been abused, misused or modied,
or which have been repaired using other than
genuine Chicago Pneumatic spare parts or by
someone other than Chicago Pneumatic or its
authorized service agents.
4. Should Chicago Pneumatic incur any expense
correcting a defect resulting from abuse,
misuse, accidental damage or unauthorized
modication, they will require that such expense
shall be defrayed in full.
5. Chicago Pneumatic accepts no claim for labour
or other expenditure made upon defective
products.
6. Any direct, incidental or consequential damages
whatsoever arising from any defect are
expressly excluded.
7. This warranty is given in lieu of all other
warranties, or conditions, expressed or implied,
as to the quality, merchantability or tness for
any particular purpose.
8. No one, whether an agent, servant or employee
of Chicago Pneumatic, is authorized to add to or
modify the terms of this limited warranty in any
way.

- Démonter la turbine voir dessin 3 serrer legerement le rotor dans un etau equipe de mors en plomb puis dévisser le porte pince 22 ou l écrou de pince 27 ou la fourche d accouplement 29 8
- Déposer une goutte de colle loctite 222 sur le filetage du régulateur 13 avant de serrer celui ci au couple de 1 4 n m 8

- Για τη μέγιστη απόδοση του πνευματικού εργαλείου τη διατήρηση των τεχνικών χαρακτηριστικών και για την αποφυγή διαδοχικών επισκευών συνιστάται η καθιέρωση προγράμματος ελέγχου και επισκευής του εργαλείου αυτού κάθε 500 ώρες τα χρονικά διαστήματα των ελέγχων αυτών εξαρτώνται από το βαθμό καταπόνησης που συνεπάγεται η προς εκτέλεση εργασία 27
