Important information
Backup camera Gazer CC1ХХ has a universal car body mount.
Models CC1ХХ-ххх and CC1ХХ-ххх-L are based on Gazer CC1ХХ
camera and designed for installation in the license plate light
housing (video camera is integrated into the lamp body).
Model CC1ХХ-ххх uses the original number plate light (the
lamp mounting and socket connection are identical to the
original car lamp). Model CC1ХХ-ххх-L uses LED license plate
light (color temperature 2700K).
Gazer СС20XX-ххх camera is designed for mounting instead of
the car trunk lid grip (the camera is integrated into the trunk
grip body with the button function preserved).
«XX» code in the name of a Gazer video camera model
indicates its modification. «xxx» code in the name of a Gazer
video camera model indicates its compatibility with the factory
code of the original number plate light housing of a specific car
or with the code of a standard location used for rear-view
camera mounting.
Gazer CC series cameras
transmits mirror-like video signal, so
that driver could rely on the video feed from the camera as
he/she would do when looking in the rear view mirror.
Mirrored signal transmission function in Gazer СС125 and
Gazer СС155 cameras can be disabled (for more information
on how to disable the mirrored signal transmission function,
please, refer to p.11).
Important information
The image displayed by the cameras Gazer CC1XX/
CC1ХХ-ххх/CC1ХХ-ххх-L/CC2000-ххх has a parking assist
overlay (red, yellow and green lines). These lines have
curvature (repeating the curvature of objects in a wide-angle
lens camera) and indicate the same distance to the obstacles
across the full width of the visible image. Distance from car to
each guidance line depends on the car model (mounting
height and camera tilt). The driver must estimate (or
measure) the actual distance to each of the guidance lines on
his/her car.
Parking assist function in Gazer СС125 and Gazer СС155
cameras can be disabled (for more information on how to
disable the parking assist function, please, refer to p.11).
Gazer CC2010-xxx/CC2015-xxx cameras use an IPAS
function.
Attention!
Objects behind the vehicle are closer than they
appear in the camera-produced image. To avoid accidents and
injuries while driving in reverse, do not rely only on the rear
view camera. Be sure to always check the situation around the
car and monitor the situation in the rear-view mirror.
Note:
Gazer CC155 video camera uses a special lens that
allows minimizing the geometric distortions (barrel effect) of
objects in the frame.
