GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
l The appliance may only be operated on an electricity
supply which corresponds to the voltage and type of cur
rent specified on the housing (rating plate).
l Caution: Never use your hairdryer in the bath, under a
shower or over a washbasin full of water.
l If, however, the appliance should fall into water, pull the
power plug out of the power socket immediately!
l Never place your hand in the water!
l Have your appliance checked by a qualified electrician
before using it again!
l Do not direct aerosols or water sprays into your appli
ance!
l Ensure that your appliance does not get wet (Water
splashing. Etc.) and do not use it with wet hands. If you
put your appliance down whilst drying your hair, always
switch it off as a precaution.
l The air outlet grille will inevitably become hot during use.
l Please check the flex for damage from time to time! In
the event of any necessary repair, including replacement
of the mains lead, your appliance should be sent to the
specialist retailer (since the use of special tools is neces
sary) from whom your hairdryer was acquired.
l When drying your hair in rollers, do not allow any clips,
hairpins, etc. to project more than 10 mm (finger width)
so as to ensure that they cannot come into contact with
the live parts inside the appliance.
l Children do not realize the dangers arising from improp
er use of electrical appliances. Children should not
therefore be allowed to use a hairdryer without supervi
sion.
