Due to a special knob on the control panel, you are able to use multiple cleaning cycles in a row, which increases the probability

of complete elimination of bacteria.

ECO function is activated by pressing the “ECO” knob on the control panel. To deactivate the function, press the same knob

again.

Warning: During the operation the function you cannot control the heating temperature, as it is selected automatically

according to the inherent logic of the ECO mode. But if ECO function is enabled for more than two consecutive weeks, the

water heater automatically enters economy mode, in which it will heat water based on your average needs.

Anti-bacteria function

The water heater has also a fully-automated anti-bacteria mode.

Control over anti-bacteria cycles of this function is implemented using the water heater program, and it is disabled by default.

Automatic mode is activated under certain conditions when you do not use the “ECO” knob on the control panel. Namely this

mode provides extra protection against malignant bacteria containing in the warm water.

The rst cycle begins three days after the product is switched on. Subsequent cycles are performed every 30 days if, during that

period, the water is not heated to 70°C at least once. When the water heater is switched o, the anti-bacteria function is

disabled. If the appliance is switched o during the anti-bacteria cycle, the product shuts down and the function is disabled. At

the end of every cycle, the operating temperature reverts to the value set previously by the user.

• For models featuring a user interface as represented in gures 6 and 7:

The activation of the ECO anti-bacteria cycle is displayed as a normal 70°C temperature setting (Fig. 6 and 7). To disable the

anti-bacteria function on a permanent basis, press and hold the "ECO" and "+" buttons simultaneously for four seconds; the

LED will ash rapidly for four seconds to conrm its deactivation (Ref. 1 in Fig. 6 and 7). To reactivate the anti-bacteria function,

repeat the procedure described above; the LED will ash rapidly for four seconds to conrm its reactivation (Ref. 2 in Fig. 6 and

7).

• For models featuring a user interface as represented in gures 8 and 9:

During the ECO automatic anti-bacteria cycle, the display alternates between the temperature of the water and the text "-Ab-".

To disable/enable the function, while the water heater is in operation, press and hold the “Mode” button for ve seconds.

Select “Ab0” (to disable the function) or “Ab1” (to enable the function) by turning the “Set” (Setting) knob, and then conrm it

by pressing the knob. After the function has been disabled/enabled, the indication on the water heater control panel will revert

to its normal operating status.

3.4. Reset/Diagnostics

• For models featuring a user interface as represented in gures 6 and 7:

When a malfunction occurs, the appliance will enter its "fault status" and all LEDs on the control panel will ash simultaneously.

Reset: to reset the appliance, switch the product oﬀ and on again using the knob (Ref. A). If the cause of the malfunction

disappears immediately following the reset process, the appliance will resume normal operation. If this is not the case, all the

LEDs will continue to ash. In this case contact the Technical Assistance Centre.

Diagnostics: to activate the diagnostics function, press and hold the button (Ref. A) for 5 seconds.

The type of malfunction is indicated by the ve LEDs (Ref. 1-5), in accordance with the following diagram:

LED ref. 1 – Internal P.C.B. malfunction;

LED ref. 2 – Anode malfunction (in models tted with active anode);

LED ref. 3 – Temperature sensors broken (open or short-circuited);

LED ref. 5 – Water overheating detected by an individual sensor;

LED ref. 4 and 5 – General overheating (P.C.B. malfunction);

LED ref. 3 and 5 – Sensor dierential error;

LED ref. 3, 4 and 5 – Lack of water.

To exit the diagnostics function, press the button (Ref. A) or wait for 25 seconds.

• For models featuring a user interface as represented in gures 8 and 9:

When a malfunction occurs, the appliance will enter its "fault status" and the relevant error code will ash on the display (e.g.

E01).

The error codes are as follows:

Е01-Е02-E03 - Water overheating detected by an individual sensor;

E10-E11-E12-E13-E16 - Temperature sensors broken (open or short-circuited);

Е04 - Lack of water;

E14-E15 - Anode malfunction (in models tted with active anode);

E50-E51 - Maintenance request;

E60-E90-E91-E92 - P.C.B. software error.

Reset: to reset the appliance, switch the product oﬀ and on again using the knob (Ref. A). If the cause of the malfunction

disappears immediately following the reset process, the appliance will resume normal operation. If this is not the case, the

error code will appear on the display. In this case contact the Technical Assistance Centre.

3.5. Setting/Adjusting Local Time

• For models featuring a user interface as represented in gures 8 and 9:

To adjust the local time, the rst time the water heater is switched on it will automatically prompt you to set the current time;

on subsequent occasions you will need to press and hold the “Set” knob for 3 seconds. Adjust the current hour setting by

turning the “Set” knob, and then conrm the value by pressing the knob. Repeat the procedure to set the minute value.
