Click the Configure System Log button, and you will go to the Configuration page as shown in
Figure 4-46.

¾ Log - Check the Disable radio button to disable the system log function. The default
setting is enabled.
¾ Log Level - Select the log level, then all the events above or equal to the selected level will
be logged.
¾ Display Level - All logged events above or equal to the selected level will be displayed.
¾ Mode - Select Local, Remote or Both. If the selected mode is Remote or Both, events will
be sent to the specified IP address and UDP port of the remote syslog server. If the
selected mode is Local or Both, events will be recorded in the local memory.
