Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning, pull out the plug from the socket and wait until the
kettle cool down.
Do not use abrasive and aggressive substances to clean.
Do not immerse the kettle, stand and cord in water or other liquid.
Clean the body with a slightly damp cloth or sponge. Clean dirt and
stains with a soft cloth dampened with a weak solution of gentle
detergent.
Remove the limescale in the kettle regularly. It is formed mainly on the
heating element, and prevents heating. The limescale formation rate
depends on the degree of water hardness and frequency of the use.
Descaling
If the kettle is switched o before boiling, you have to remove the
resulting limescale in it.
It is needed to descale regularly when ordinary use of the kettle at
least 2 times a year.
Using ordinary descaling agents, boil the solution in the kettle
several times, as described in the instructions attached to the agent.
Then pour the solution and rinse kettle.
Also the limescale can be removed with the vinegar. To do this, ll
the kettle to the maximum point with the solution in the following
proportions: 1 part of vinegar and 2 parts of water. Turn on the kettle
and wait until it turns o automatically. Leave the solution in the
kettle overnight. The next morning pour the solution from the kettle.
Fill the kettle with clean water up to the maximum point and boil it.
Pour the boiled water from the kettle to remove the remains of the
solution. Rinse the kettle with water.
Storing
Unplug the appliance from the power system, drain the water, let it
cool and dry.
Keep the appliance in a clean, dry place out of reach of children.
When storing the cord can be wound on the cable winding device,
which is at the bottom of the kettle stand. Never hang the appliance
by the cord!
Electrical equipment have to be stored in a dry place at ambient
temperature no higher than plus 40 °C with a relative humidity of
70%, and the absence of dust, acid and other fumes in surrounding
medium which aect adversely the materials of the electrical
devices.
