6.2 PROBLEMS IN OPERATION

If this unit does not seem to operate properly, check the POSSIBLE CAUSES below.

SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSES

NO POWER  The power cord is not connected.

 The POWER BUTTON on the main unit is off.

NO TV RECEPTION

 The antenna connector is not connected, or wires are broken.

 Cables are incorrectly connected to external equipment.

 The appropriate color system is not selected.

NOISY PICTU RE  The TV is not fine-tuned correctly.

 The antenna is not adjusted correctly.

 Cables are incorrectly connected to external equipment.

 Possible station trouble.

 Possible local interference.

NO REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

 The batteries need to be replaced.

 Polarities of the batteries are incorrect.

 Main power is not on.

 Something may interfere the path to remote sensor.

NORMAL PICTURE, NO SOUND

 Volume is set to min., press VOL. UP button.

 Volume is set to mute, press MUTE button.

 Possible chassis problem.

NO PICTURE, NORMAL SOUND

 Brightness & Contrast may be set to min..

 TV station problem.

NO COLOUR

 Select other color systems by COLOR SYS. Key.

 Color may be set to min..

 Program may be in black and white.
