Use only those accessories approved by Research In Motion. Using any accessories not approved by RIM for use with this

Operating and storage temperatures
Situate your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet or accessories away from heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Avoid using your tablet in direct sunlight.
If you are not going to use your tablet for more than two weeks, turn off the tablet power and follow the operating and
storage temperatures listed in the following table:

Tablet storage

Interference with electronic equipment
Co-channel mobile satellite systems: To reduce the potential for harmful interference with co-channel mobile satellite
systems, your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet operates in the 5150 to 5250 MHz band only when associated with a
wireless access point indoors.
CAUTION: High-power radar systems are allocated as primary users (meaning they have priority) of the 5250 to 5350 MHz
and 5650 to 5850 MHz bands. These radar systems might cause interference with or damage to your tablet.
Additional safety guidelines
Stability: Do not place your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet or accessories on any unstable surface. They could fall and
thereby potentially cause serious injury and damage to property including your tablet. Take care when using your tablet
with any charging accessories to route the power cord in a way that reduces the risk of injury to others, such as by tripping
or choking.
Cleaning: Do not use liquid, aerosol cleaners, or solvents on or near your tablet or accessories. Clean only with a soft dry
cloth. Disconnect any cables and unplug any charging accessories from the electrical outlet before cleaning either your
tablet or the charging accessory.
